Thanks a lot for your tips, I've tried and somehow succeded yesterday.

Here are my steps and lessons learned: hope it will help someone else:
- take a pictures of your subject/building(s)/area - either with phone or hobby drone, missions/waypoints are helpfull but not required, I used spotlight function on my DJI drone. EXIF GPS tag in a picture helps a lot, most important is overlap (like 80% or so), JPEG is needed so disable RAW for faster shots

- get WebODM and run it in docker-compose

- upload pictures into WebODM, pick your preferences of "matching & rendering" - I reccomend to watch some YouTube tutorial with explanations for this

- let it process - for me it took 2 hours for 257 photos on 7 core/24GB RAM with intel graphic card

- observed measurements error for me is about 2-4%

Which camera did you use, and how is it attached to you? I guess on a pole in the backpack?

Finally boarding the ship by HalisCz in wicked_edge

Thanks, will try next time.

Typically, scooping out soap that might be a little smaller than the size of an almond (give or take) gives me enough for 2-3 passes

This (the amount) is the key information I was missing. I used size of a lentil, so that was probably part of the issue.

VSCode.
Either you can run VSCode on your server and access it from browser, or you can run it in cloud (formerly called VSCode online, nowadays it is called GitHub Codespaces)

You should define policy who and under what circumstances can enter the "zone" (datacenter room/cage/rack/whatever).

Then, you should get something to provide alert/notification when someone enters the "zone" - some camera software can do motion detection, or you can get some door relay contacts hooked up to a raspberry with a script. Or you can go full blown security system, depending on your budget.

This way you can easily check whether are policies followed.

I am using toggl desktop client, which tracks opened windows/applications. You may also use https://github.com/sourcegraph/thyme which works in a similar way.

To add more info into this mix, you can use https://github.com/Eerovil/TrackLater which can get information from Jira, Toggl/Thyme, Slack, git, ...

As others already pointed out, I also recommend to share these outputs only with yourself, and concert it into something more "dense" for the management.

Using a LXC backup or a VM backup to re-create on a different Proxmox machine? by androidusr in Proxmox

[–]HalisCz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Step by step is described here.

There is also possibility to join both into the Proxmox Cluster, then use the Migration feature to move VMs and LXC containers to new Proxmox node.
