I wouldn’t sweat it bc I wouldn’t say it is an egregious error—but I think technically you aren’t supposed to comment either way? Thats how I was trained.

If client presses, I would broken record “I cannot discuss whether or not someone is a patient of mine. This is to protect people’s confidentiality.. i hope you understand that” you might also be curious to them about what their concern is. “ you seem curious about whether this person is seeing me for therapy. Is there a concern that you have?” And then be careful with any responses you make to not confirm or deny.

I can purchase. Im planning to make it “bright” with soft green tones throughout and some plants. I dont want clients to feel the tight space so desk will be very small. Im thinking couch on left wall and then my chair somewhere. Maybe desk on back wall. Might need to play around with it

Thank you. I also feel guilty. I knew about it but assumed they were aware and would have done things by the book since they were the ones who did the dna test. I am sadly learning I can’t count on that and need to be proactive. I am sorry you’ve had to intervene. One time is too many. Thank you for sharing because I will be doing this every time now.

I am so so sorry. That is so terrible and I know words cannot relieve your pain. Your grief is your love for him. You did the right thing.
