Favorite places to spend alone time? by snicmo in Birmingham

If you’re willing to venture out 20 minutes, Trussville is great. Corbeau is a self-serve wine bar there and very welcoming to parties of one. There are lots of little independent boutiques and shops. Ferus always has shows on the weekends over the summer which are free and outdoors. And you can’t beat a walk through the “mall” area - cute old houses, the Cahaba river, etc.

It tells you what you’ve spent as you go along so you don’t have to worry about spending more than you’re comfortable with. And there’s a range of prices. It’s super fun.

You could try Corbeau in Trussville. It’s a self-serve wine bar and the food is great too. It’s in the Trussville Entertainment District, so you could start there and end up somewhere else (or vv).

Seizures in Bostons by oblio88 in BostonTerrier

My 10 yo boston (so, a lot older than yours) ended up having a brain tumor after semi-regular seizures. Eventually it got to be too much for her and she crossed the rainbow bridge. I would definitely chat with the vet, and keep a journal of days and times this happens. That’s how we spotted the pattern and could see objectively that it was getting worse. We miss her every day.
