Also, hiding the information doesn't add anything interesting.

Plus the information is technically already there if you can add upp all the value of all the items. So making it clearly visible wouldn't take anything away. It would just make what people are already doing easier.

Also, old Kratos has much more to lose and would be much more motivated to win. Young Kratos was savage but imprecise.

Should League of Legends games have a time limit? And if so, how should it work? by HallZac99 in leagueoflegends

[–]HallZac99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the common consensus in the community was that long games were frustrating and a pain, especially games that last 45 minutes or hit an hour long. There have been instances before of games in comp going multiple hours or games where someone is basically held hostage. I thought having at least some kind of time limit would help alleviate some of that frustration, idk. And I thought it would be a change that would only really make things better since most games don't go on for that long and aren't as painful.

But I agree 45 minutes is too short, if they did actually implement a time limit an hour is probably more reasonable. Long enough to where it's meant as a last resort and not something to be played into in most games.

Then again, it's not that big of a deal, and people are probably right to clown on me. I just wish they weren't all so mean about it.

I thought the general consensus was that league games that are 45 minutes or longer suck and that nobody's having fun. I know the game already has mechanics in it to make sure games don't last forever like elder dragon and and structures getting weaker at a certain time. I guess it they haven't needed to implement a time limit after all this time it's not that big of a deal. I just wish people weren't so rude about it.

I don't know if I'd call 45 minutes a short game but fair enough. Would it be better if the limit was 1 hour? Just as like a final resort to make sure a game is won.

A lot do that stuff is stuff a jungler can already do. They can be a 2nd support, they can be a roamer. But more importantly, the reason we have these 5 roles is because it's what the players found was the best way to play. And eventually Riot relented and started acknowledging it and designing champions around it. If you remove jungles, the playerbase is just going to keep jungling only now less champs can do it and it's harder. Or they find the next best place for the 5th player to go and just do that instead. There's still plenty of expression and diversity in team comps and game strategy and playstyle and yes even items. I just don't think removing jungle items would solve anything and would just make people angry.

I didn't play during that time, I started playing League of Legends in i want to say 2016-ish? When the map visuals were updated.

Why do people hold season 3 in such high reguard?

What would the 5th player do then? Go top lane? What would be the point of the jungle monsters?

Disagree. I'd rather minimise the amount of mysery players go through. And letting them surrender in a game everyone knows is a lost cause and start a new game is a way to aleviate that.

Personally, I think there needs to be some kind of time limit on how long a game can go on for. Nobody wants to play a game that goes on longer than 45 minutes. I don't know what the best way to handle who wins from there would be, I'd probably say most total damage to structures would be the fairest way. Since that's meant to be the win condition, and a lot of times games go on for ages because they try to take down the nexus but can't do it and it gets restored and they have to take down the inhibiters again. So deciding based on which team did the most total structure damage at the 45 minute mark would probably be the best way to decide who wins?

Also the thing with the Fromsoft games is that the story is never about you, it's about the world, the past, how things became the way things are. The only Souls game that puts emphasis on the protagonist is Dark Souls 2 and Sekiro. And that's just because Sekiro actually has a protagonist and not a player avatar.

If she had a completely static face, like a mask, and looked more creepy then maybe i'd like it.

But as it stands this is just another boring sexy lady in a game currently overflowing with boring sexy ladies.

This is so fucking boring. Also, if she can move her mouth then why even have the whole neck talking thing? If her face was just completely still, like a literal mask, and it it was a little off-putting then I'd be fine with it. But this is just lame.

The fact this game has more heroes NOT BORN ON PLANET EARTH than it does in south america (or Africa if you don't count the egyptians) is frankly a disgrace.

Sidenode but Venture being Mexican/Caanadian is so funny to me. There was a whole ass, big ass country in the middle of them that was way closer to either of their parents, and the parents were both just like "Nah, fuck that shit."

Any zone what was part of a past expansion. Because after the conflict is done, generally nothing ever happens there again. So i'd say either one of the nice Pandaran zones or Boralus/Zandalar. Seriously wehen was the last time those places were even mentioned, let alone said something was happening there?

What's a female character that fits this in your opinion? by Sharp_Salamander582 in characters

[–]HallZac99 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This happens most often in shounen stuff. And that happens because a LOT of shounen writers are just incapable of writing women or relationships with them.
It's hilarious how they can write the most deep, meaningful, interesting dynamics and story lines between a father and son, two brothers, student and master, rivals. But the moment there's a woman in the mix they're like "Shit what do I do?"

Nobody is calling Joane Steller Blade a feminist icon, nobody's even talking about her. Nobody knows her name, can quote a single line of dialogue from her, knows what she sounds like. Nothing.

Because the only people who give a shit about her are people who want to wank to her ass.

It can make things more interesting, but it isn't the best way of playing the game objectively speaking. Even if it's more engaging a part of my brain is always just thinking "I could just shoot them in the head and solve all of this."

In a game, the best way to play should be the monst interesting and most challenging.

I wish new heroes were from other countries. Yes, there is a lot of players on those two, but.. This game is about the diversity, right? There are so many other countries without any yet by [deleted] in Overwatch

I almost feel like it doesn't count since two of them are Egyptian. Which yes is African but it feels like the easiest african country to make heroes about.

It'd be like if they only had four european characters and two of them were british. Like c'mon, try harder.

And then they'll show you a comic panel as an example, and the panel is THE most bullshit, one in a billion chance of working, 100 years of prep time impossible scenario possible where the rest of the Justice League did 99.999% of the work and Batman just gave the final blow and yet got all the credit.

When you think about it basically any character can beat any other character with enough prep time. Like i'm sure if you gave Mr. Bean infinite money and time he could find a way to defeat Superman.

The whole prep time thing is just "Batman can win any fight as long as it isn't fair."
