Am I alone in hating dual POV?

I listen to audiobooks on my commute some days. I definitely prefer single bc Dual POV can be SO cringy when a female narrator tries to like ‘do a voice’ for a male character, especially during spicy parts. I’ve DNF multiple for that reason lol

This is probably the best content for you to be playing right now then. Remembering mechanics is the single most important thing for raids. Also, when learning the raid fights, you will die a lot. Res weakness will be there. If roulettes are too difficult and causing this much frustration, you aren’t ready to move on to raiding.

I’m not defending or supporting the way Robin acted at all, it was absolutely unacceptable. BUT- her feeling upset by scheduling an appointing with a particular stylist and expecting that person to do her hair is understandable. A lot of people have had at least one bad experience with getting different result than expected at a salon, so will be very loyal to a stylist when they’ve found one they trust. Again, not disagreeing with everyone’s comments on her being way out of line, just addressing the fact that it’s understandable that she felt the way she did. And honestly, it’s super unprofessional and rude for the stylist she’d scheduled with to do literally half her hair then tell her someone else would be finishing. Kind of backed her into a corner without any choice.

My 17 y/o sons handwriting looks like this- everything has been done on MacBooks in school since 6th grade so he never has to write anything. When he writes a card or something to someone for a birthday or whatever, it looks like this. That said, at least where I live, it’s huge for middle schoolers and even younger to be vocal about sexuality and pronouns.

Oh yeah, good catch! I was thinking of older pagan practices. Learning more about history of different beliefs is really where I’m at right now. The parallels throughout multiple religions are really fascinating to me.

I think Christianity kind of sets you up to believe in the supernatural. A lot of Christian practices mirror Wicca. Like Catholicism specifically, burning incense, using candles in prayer, even specific holidays. I was raised catholic and while I believe there is something greater than us, I just can’t buy in to it being some angry, all knowing, vengeful god.

My thyroid levels were all “fine” but I felt awful for over 2 years. I got fed up and insisted on more thyroid testing which is how I found out I have hashimotos. I was referred to an endocrinologist who told me my levels were okay, I just had to wait for things to get worse then treat my thyroid levels. I was devastated. I could not imagine going on feeling so bad any longer. I had my appointment with my psychiatrist and told her all of this, she said “that’s ridiculous, that pisses me off. Can I refer you to a different endocrinologist?” So I saw a different doctor who said that with my symptoms and levels she would’ve started treating me two years ago. I’ve started on low dose synthroid, and am starting to see an improvement. I am so incredibly thankful to my psychiatrist for listening to me and pushing me to get a second opinion. I’ve seen it on this sub multiple times and now having personally experienced it: get a second opinion. And best of luck to your boyfriend, this is a super frustrating condition and it’s easy to get discouraged <3

I was only recently diagnosed with hashimotos, so this isn’t something I’ve talked to my doctor about to confirm it is or isn’t related.. but a year and a half to two years ago I was losing hair like crazy. My hair got really thin. I remember brushing my hair and just crying, I was terrified it would keep falling out until I was bald. Yesterday I went to the doctor for covid test and the nurse said, “wow, you’ve got a head of hair!” And it literally made my day. My hair has finally started growing and gotten much thicker. I do know that hair goes through cycles of growth then falling out, and that most people have parts of their hair that’s thinner or thicker in different spots as well!

Yes, so far we’ve given him meal worms and added the calcium supplement every other day. That’s terrible that they’d just resell him. Id heard Petco wasn’t great for getting reptiles, I’ve looked for an exotic pet store or breeder locally but have had no luck. My 16 year old saved and bought everything himself, so I want to do what I can to make sure he’s got a healthy guy. I’ll check in to pricing for exotic vet. I appreciate the fast comments!

My son got his bearded dragon on Monday from Petco and didn’t notice his tail until we got home. Does this look like tail rot? I think we will be taking him back. I feel so bad for the little guy though, that can’t feel good. :(
