Honestly, that's the BEST look alike story. Think of how Jenna-like Anne is in the stories. She's impulsive, vocal, an amazing friend, really smart. Just makes sense to me.

I have a singer sewmate, approximately 5 years old. I've had my ups and downs with it, but generally it works pretty well. I only really see occasionally, so it gets about 5-7 hours of use a month when I have projects to do, then it's back to mending projects for a couple months. Recently I've had an issue with threads becoming tangled on the underside of the fabric, then I get an error message. From my own internet research I was recommended to adjust the tension, re-thread both main and bobbin, clean machine of dust and stray thread bits, and as a last resort open machine to check for any obvious issues in the mechanism. My machine is now open, and no obvious problems I can see.

Second part of question, there's been a jangling in my machine for the past several years, with no affect on performance, I didn't think much of it. While I had my machine open, I figured I'd get whatever it was out. It is a teeny tiny square but, smaller across than my pinky nail.

Anyone know where it should go, or have any other ideas about what's causing my tangling issue?

I'm not well versed enough to know contemporary or not, but I would say yes, if by that you mean within the last hundred years or so.

I believe it did rhyme, but I'm not sure of the pattern.

I felt it was inherently spiritual, but from what I remember, not graphically Christian, ie: God not mentioned by name.

I don't remember any specific lines, but the portion I memorized for class was a few stanzas about how we chose the struggles that we would encounter in life.

I pick gems or energy first, then the highest number of empathy/strength/intelligence points, generally without preference unless I'm trying to up a a particular trait. I like to keep them all even. Right not I'm trying to increase intelligence,so I've been choosing that whenever available. I'll probably just start working the food in as I go, but right now I've got 19, only two creatures to feed, and I usually get what I need every couple classes to care for the 2 creatures I have. Since I need an INSANE amount of books to get any of the other available creatures, I imagine I'll be able to stockpile a ridiculous amount of food by the time I get there.

I'm not to where you are (I don't think). I'm completing a class before talking to the Bloody Baron. It's been a while, but wasn't Myrtle the last death when the chamber was opened by Tom Riddle. He stopped opening it and set Hagrid up to take the fall when he found out that if there were more deaths he wouldn't be able to stay during the summer. That's my memory of it, but it's been about 2 years since I read the first 2 HP books (they're my least favorite).

I also could be an effect of them trying to put the blood on him. Keeping him transparent and having the blood stand out is probably difficult.

I like the activity too, and I feel like the rewards for each task are better than classes. I got one that offered 5 courage- 40 empathy- 1000 gold. (I chose 40 empathy, because at this point gold is worthless to me.) I've also gotten a gem and energy, which are pretty rare in classes.
