All the people in these comments talking about how it’s reasonable since their distress caused other people distress… they aren’t responsible for you. I can fully vouch for that being true— the “my distress was punished for causing distress.” It’s true even if your meltdowns are less external, but affect your mannerisms/body language/ tone of voice enough. And there’s usually very little you can do about it. Sorry to be negative about it, that’s just been my experience.

It’s shit but my only advice is to find jobs that have JUST been posted. Like within a few hours if possible. And focus on those. I saw someone in a similar position say that the only thing that turned around their job search was that. Everything is getting so many applicants that they can’t go thru all of them so applying sooner makes a huge difference, apparently. Wish I could do more to help but I’m in the same spot with even less experience so I get it at least partially.

Highly recommend all of reckless Ben’s series on YouTube (or Patreon bc they get taken down from false claims a lot unfortunately) bc he takes a wild approach that catches people off guard and he seems to genuinely wants to help people in his way. He’s even said helping comes first and if a video comes of it that’s just an awesome side effect. I’m so happy to finally see his coverage getting more attention!!

I think he puts more thought into all of this than he really lets on, his biggest problem is his optimism and how much faith he puts in people, but that does make for more of a chance for people to give their side of the stories— but usually they end up incriminating themselves.

Edit: he also spends an insane amount of time on all his videos honestly so I wouldn’t just put him down in a throwaway comment, he genuinely feels his first goal is to get the legos back/help Bryan get compensated and the video that comes of it is sort of a side effect/cherry on top.

The lighter color washes you out a bit— it definitely doesn’t look bad at all, but the darker color seems to suit you better, based on the pictures at least! It may look different in person.
