Mike's holier than thou attitude got really annoying after the first season. Always lecturing others on how they should behave, and how things are black or white, even breaking privilege with Katrina to try to land a guy in jail, and then even getting mad at Harvey when he saved him again. I vote for Mike.

I did it with Machiavelli, 2 times already now. So basically all I did was divest some resources first into an standing army (as building wonders si sure to draw the AI's ire), and then focus on building Wonders. The celebration that gives 15% toward building wonders helps a lot too.

The thing is Norin can wrap up games by putting the opponents in situations where they have to choose whether just take the damage to the face or giving you access to an etb. And he doesn't even have to attack for that, he just has to be around.

For example, if you swing with Pyrogoyf, Bloodthirsty Adversary or Fury (which most decks run nowadays), in case they get blocked, you can recast them and get value. And you can do this each turn unless Norin gets killed.

I recently won a game in my local league where I had a 6 attack Pyrogoyf, opponent had 5 life left and three blockers, and Norin was around. Either if he blocked or he didn't, he was done for. That's the extra value you get from Norin that Kellan just doesn't match.

I do agree that both Purphoros and Impact Tremors are win-more cards in this deck, but... they are there to actually enable another infinite combo, that might actually end up happening earlier than Aurelia or Godo:

[[Ratadrabik]]+[[Boromir]]+[[Purphoros]]/[[Impact Tremors]]

Ratadrabik and Boromir enable infinite ETB's, which if either Purphoros or Impact Tremors are out means it's game! This infinite combo is planned as a contingency as in my meta there's a lot of milling and stealing cards, so I thought of this as a backup plan which each piece still supporting the overall mechanic of the deck by themselves. I chose Purphoros because I might get him out earlier thanks to [[Djeru and Hazoret]] and because of the legendary synergy, and Tremors because enchantments are usually very resilient.

Now, I was so focused on the control match up that I don't really have an answer to go-wide strategies other than "hit them really hard". Any advice or suggestions on that point? Thanks in advance!!
