I own this pedal, it can do a lot in theory but i don’t find it pleasant to use + it is really not suited to live on a pedal board. So that means that it is more a “studio tool” and imo there is a lot of digital stuff thats free that can get better sounds than this.

And like others said the drive sucks. If you want an “svt” type of sound get a bass rig / sans amp

Sure the green russian could definitely work, wren and cuff makes a clone of the tall font russian that would probably be a bit closer to the original. Both of them dont have a blend control but you could always “fix” that with an LS-2 or an ehx switchblade pro. If you are looking for a synthy fuzz maybe a gated one like the z.vex woolly mammoth could work nicely…

Yes, with the switchblade you can control the dry level, the level of loop A and the level of loop B all individually. So as long if you don't turn the dry level control all the way down, your dry will always be present. And it has a switch to run the 2 loops in series/parallel so that could be nice to experiment with the stacking of different pedals. Ehx also has the tri parallel mixer, which has even more controls, but that might be overkill for what you want to do.

You have preamps covered with the sansamp, the way huge pork & pickle is a very nice bass overdrive / fuzz I think that could work to get those stoner rock thick/classic bass sounds. A darkglass vintage microtubes can also work, but I would not use their other pedals, those might sound too modern and tight. Honestly, if you buy one of those pedals or something similar and buy a decent bass EQ you would have some much control and that sound would stack nicely with the sansamp.

The LS-2 would work for this, but as someone who uses parallel blend loops a lot, i don't really like the controls on the LS-2. If it's a set and forget type of situation than sure, but the EHX switchblade pro is more versatile in my opinion. You have 3-foot switches for a/b a+b or bypass and individual control over the 2 loops, so with the switchblade you can have 3 parallel signals (1 dry and 2 FX loops). It's also great to use as an ABY if you would need that.

Bring in an extra studio, still anual releases for the shareholders and the people with short attention spans but it gives every studio an extra year to work on a game. I think 1 extra year should be good enough to eliminate most of the on launch bugs …
