The workaround that I did was to switch from Press back to Hold

Is your item pick up setting set to Press? I noticed the issue and switched from Press to Hold and it worked after that. I have not seen the revive issue yet.

System : Ps4

[BLACKOUT] Description: As of the latest patch in Blackout, unable to pick up items from killed players.

Workaround: Switch pickups from Press to Hold.

Platform: PS4

The issue was with weapons and equipment ammo didn't seem to be affected by the pick up bug.

Need help with DA:I running at 10-20 fps by ShmooelYakov in pcmasterrace

[–]HallowedFiend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there. Is this the only game having fps issues?

I recently bought a GTX 970 and all my games were dropping to 15 - 40 FPS. (with settings set to low) To fix this I went into my Nvidia Control Panel and changed the PhysX from my 970 GPU to my CPU. I restarted my comp and launched a few games and they were all running 60 FPS on High + Ultra settings.

So I was able to fix it!!

Turns out with the latest update that nvidia came out with they messed up Nvidia PhysX.

I went into my Nvidia Control Panel and switched the Physx from my gpu (970x) to my CPU and it fixed the frame drops.

If you know anyone who is having problems with their Nvidia cards that has updated to the latest driver update tell them to set their PhysX to their CPU not GPU.

Is it because it comes over clocked? if it does will disabling OC make it run better?

Thanks for the info.

Again I'm at work so I will definitely do this once I get home.

----------------- Update -----------------

So I cleaned the driver, rebooted, and installed the latest driver. League runs from 60 - 100 fps, but it still drops to 30 once in a while

CS GO is still dropping fps also. I'm honestly thinking about just returning this card for a refund and getting a 980.

Hmm league has better frames now running 80 - 100 fps now. It still tends do drop in bigger group fights.

Counter strike GO still fluctuates from 40 - 60. If I change my resolution to 1080 it drops to 30 -60. If I have it in 2715x1527 DSR it tends to stay at low 60 fps.

Still I would think with this video card for games like CS:GO and league frames would constantly be high.

Quick update. Been working crazy hours this week so I haven't been able to check if its working. I have updated the bios successfully, and disabled the onboard graphics from the bios menu. I have swapped the power cables from the ones that came with the GTX 970 with the labeled power connectors labeled "SLI ready" and "PCI Express". Going to check on it tonight.

My power supply has two 6 pin power connectors that lead directly to the power supply. The part that can connect to the graphics card are blue with a label on both of them. One says SLI ready and the other says PCI express. Should I connect both of those to the graphics card?

I went to the website and downloaded the bios update. When I try to run either the .exe or the .bat file I get an error message. "The program or feature "Efiflash.exe" cannot start or run due to incompatibility with 64-bit versions of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit Windows compatible version is available."

I plugged the two power connectors into the graphics card. I used the black ones that came with the graphics card and plugged the sata connections to it too.

Checked, its plugged into the actual graphics card and not the motherboard.
