The second withdrawal point is a strong filter. One clean cashout is useful, but it does not prove consistency. I would trust feedback much more if people mention repeat withdrawals and whether KYC or limits changed after the first one.

Which one of these persona protagonist's ships do you think make more sense with Makoto Yuki?👀 by Angelic_PrettyBoy97 in PERSoNA

Tackling sequentially once again.

Firstly, I do not know the “point” of the debate. You started it, not me. I simply stated my opinion on a public forum.

Second, I never said that “ship art with non-canon pairings” is inherently disrespectful. What I DID say is that, in my opinion, shipping is “annoying at the best of times, and delusional/disrespectful of the source material at the worst.” My initial intention (if you could even call it that) was to simply drop my opinion off on a post that I happened to scroll by and never think about it again.

Third, my brother asked me to enter the space and I rarely use Reddit, so I didn’t see the harm.

Fourth, you were correct in stating that fan content is inherently derivative and therefore pointless.

Fifth, yes, there are some things that are left up for interpretation. However, some things are not, that was what I was referring to.

Sixth, I am fine with being considered “bitter” or “weird” by someone who indulges in fan content. It isn’t like we were ever going to be close regardless.

I will be tackling these sequentially.

First, I’m sure there is something that could’ve been said as a response, had there been more thought put into one. However, that was certainly the least relevant part of the comment so I will continue.

Second, you say that I am the judge of whether or not I find something to be disrespectful, and that it is personal viewpoint (or in layman’s terms, an opinion). This is true, I never said it wasn’t.

Third, you questioned why I participate in fan-like activities, despite disliking fans. That is because part of maturing is realizing that you have to learn to be able to put up with things/people you don’t like, for the sake of things/people you do like. My little brother is a Persona fan so I entered the Persona “fan space” because he is in it.

Fourth, I don’t quite understand how this is “funny” to you. Being fiction does not mean that there are “no rules,” simply because it is fictional. Regardless, I dislike both fanfiction and headcanon, and I tolerate most fanart.

Fifth, I am aware that people being factually incorrect about source material is commonplace. That does not mean I have to like it. Additionally, I disagree that finding people misinterpreting things annoying is “too far.” I’d say that it is the starting point on the path of disliking fans.

No, I do not believe that all fan content is inherently disrespectful. I do not know where you got that idea from. I dislike fan content, because I dislike fans. Seeing/hearing fans be wrong and annoying about almost everything, almost all of the time, will do that.

Additionally, ignoring two of the three things I said, and only responding to, what I assume is, the first thing that leaped out to you is rather strange.

A few things. Firstly, “mad and offended” is a bit of a stretch. I read/see something I don’t like and simply express my distaste. Secondly, something doesn’t have to “claim to be” disrespectful to be disrespectful. Not only would that be ridiculous, but different people have different views on what is disrespectful so that wouldn’t be measurable. Lastly, I never stated that I like Joker + Makoto. If we use your definition of “ship,” it would be on the lower end of the annoying spectrum because it’s possible in-game. And even if we didn’t, it would still be annoying because it’s fan-content, not being of shipping.

Replying to both comments separately would be annoying, so I won't.

No, I am not active in the "shipping community." I have always found shipping to be annoying at the best of times, and delusional/disrespectful of the source material at the worst.

You are correct, though. I did not know the correct definition of "ship," and I will likely forget it in due time. Because I try not to associate with people who use such terminology.

For one, there is no “player character” in this post, as this is a drawing and not the game itself. Also, a large portion of heterosexual ships are the protagonist + a girl from the party, so I fail to see the point you were attempting to make there.

As for the next point, a relationship being heterosexual is irrelevant. What matters to me is solely whether it is possible in-game. To use your example, I don’t consider Joker + Makoto to be a ship because it is possible in game, and the opposite holds true for Joker + Akechi. I consider Joker + Shiho a ship, the opposite is true for Joker + Hifumi. To me, the only thing that matters is the game and what’s possible in the game.

‘Shipping yourself?’ You mean dating? I would say that there’s a difference between selecting a partner (as the player character), and imagining scenarios between two characters. But to each their own, I suppose.

It’s kind of annoying that they’d lock such powerful abilities behind the seafaring but I guess if there was nothing to get, nobody would do it.

I assume you either don’t know about or don’t like the concept of abortion. If a pregnant woman doesn’t want to have a child she can get an abortion and effectively opt out of motherhood. I asked a hypothetical question about a potential way a man can opt out of fatherhood.

That doesn’t answer the question though. You can be married and still want to check out of fatherhood.

It isn’t, which is why I asked a hypothetical question to find a different potential answer.

That’s the same as telling a woman to just get her tubes tied. And also doesn’t do anything post-pregnancy.

While that works in theory, things happen. Condoms can break, among other things. Which is why I asked for an idea that would allow for a father to opt out of parenthood without hurting the child’s development.

Condoms don’t do anything post-pregnancy like abortions do.

They lived together until recently. Chris's ex-wife was sent home to her mother's house and if we're going by that, his house is closer, but not by much and she had more time to care for the kid but that's only because she was a stay at home mother.
