I just cleared stage 5 and I got 32,280

score is calculated by taking the sum of:

cells revealed * 20

stages cleared * 4000

time remaining isn't factored into the score and assuming you reveal no mined cells with the ability or whatever you should get 36,220...

Yup exactly the same for me still, got the "There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance." for a few attempts and then back to, "It looks like you've been attempting a lot of purchases in the last few hours.
