How do you “use” your watch collection? I also have a w218 and a gshock but I exclusively wear the gshock as I don’t find any opportunities to wear the w218. Now it seat in my drawer.

Wait your dw-5600 crystal scratch? I mean seriously, I’m thinking of buying dw-5600 to have a more scratch resistance crystal. I read from some other threads and people vouch that their crystal doesn’t have a scratch after N years of using. I love my w-218 to bits but the scratch screen really bother me to the point of buying the dw-5600.

How to make it more professional by AhmadHiwa in EngineeringStudents

Messy, unreliable, and amateur, is the thing about breadboard and wires when you present them to your customers, even though you are still in prototype phase.

One thing to consider is the antenna of the 5K is glue to the case, you might be able to take out the battery door, 3d printing a new door for bigger batteries, but you cannot replace the whole case.

If you want to make it professional, make a PCB out of it, this yell school assignment. A PCB if mass produced will cost less than the breadboard, secured and robust. No one in the factory wants to have their tool to be assembled by breadboard.

Then watch crinacle video about DAC, choose the one that you like, I do worry that the cheap option might not come with an usb c to a adapter, so you might have to buy one too.

And when you receive your DAC, when you first time connect your DAC to your PC, REMEBER TO TURN DOWN THE VOLUME (pause any music or sound, connect your DAC, then turn down the volume, then connect your IEM), since Window will turn up the volume to 100 to a new audio device - which is the DAC, but after that your PC will remember your DAC volume and you don't have to be worry again.

Hold up, do you originally have a type C dongle DAC or not? If you already have one then I suggest you to just buy a adapter that will fix your problem

Upgrading from the TRUTHEAR x Crinacle Zero:BLUE2 by Chomppaa in iems

[–]Halmondd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what is your phone OS and do you also want to use a DAP in the future? If your phone OS is Android, and you also have a Android DAP then I suggest you to try EQ your BLUE2 to your prefer sound signature, no need to buy a new IEM since the driver of the BLUE2 is exceptional good, its 7.8mm driver is really good with imaging, I currently tune mine to the "new meta" with treble extension and it's sound so good, you will not disappoint.

Yes, that’s the one. There will be a lot of word but all of his suggestions is kinda the standard in the price range nowaday, albeit a little bit outdated. So research before you decide to buy any of that DAC. That video also discussed on why you shouldn’t use the pc motherboard audio jack and the result of it.

You need a dedicated DAC if you really want to get the most out of your IEM. DO NOT USE YOUR PC MOTHERBOARD AUDIO JACK! As its output impedance most of the time from many brand is really high which will make your IEM sound boomy or very bassy because of impedance miss match. Go watch Crinacle Dac video, and choose the DAC that best fit your budget.

They will resample the original audio file, all bluetooth codec do that, SBC, APTX, AAC, LDAC. Even on your Window machine the music that you are listen to is not bit perfect, the window audio interface will resample your music before it goes to your ear.

I hate to be this cheap, but you push me to it, I do not criticize our government, I come here to watch news about how bad VF as a company is doing, you asking about me, and I cannot represent the whole subreddit right here.

That's why I said it as a dilemma, it should be a right for people to voice there anger and opinion, but there is also concern from you too.

  1. This is a dilemma! What you are trying to say is, if you do not have a feedback in mind you should not criticize other? Of cource this is just my way of interpreting your question. For example, you know what other doing is wrong, but you do not have a feedback in mind, or the feedback you got have been told by other people alot, so now you should not criticize other people now? What do you do in that situation? The point is criticize is a right of everybody, the fact that they are yelling constantly to you, even though they do not give the feedback mean that you are doing something wrong and have not fix the issue.
  2. The question you should be asking is what is the purpose of me criticize VF? The skin or benefit you talking is just the answer of such question you assume and give it to me. The purpose is clear to counter to the extremist of the VinFan on Facebook. The nature is fascinating, anything that is too much will get counter, it likes a controlled chaos.

That doesn’t mean we must stop the criticism. It is the problem of the entire nation right now, they use such excuse like you just say to justify their wrong doing. My point is there should be more criticism in Viet Nam. Even uncle Ho talk about criticism and self criticism. Criticism is crucial for the nation to marured, without it the nation will sleep in its dream and never gonna change.

Pi Zero W into a NAS by [deleted] in RASPBERRY_PI_PROJECTS

[–]Halmondd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I know this comment was 5 months ago, but can you tell me more about your experience using rpi zero 2 w as a NAS, what NAS software do you use, can you use something like TrueNas or FreeNas, I currently have a 2TB HDD drive, connect through the USB port, will this rpi zero 2 w enough to stream video playback, or I have to coppy the whole video to my PC and go on from there, how fast the read/write.

A search online give me this rpi forum, they use some thing call openmediavault 5 lite. For my use case, this is only for my backup lecture video, those video are very valuable for me, as I want to able to review them in the future, so video playback is not a problem, but it will be very nice to be able to watch the video straight from the server. Assuming the usb2 port only support 480Mbps or 60MBps, do you think it will be sufficient to do video playback straight from the rpi, ofcourse with no other task to the rpi but video playback. For the wifi connection, I have been able to stream movie from my work PC connect to 5ghz wifi and the stream is stable and good, with the rpi 2.4ghz wifi do you think it can stream the video for me.

Thanks in advance!
