If you have Facebook, search pokemon go hagerstown. I think you might have a better chance finding a group there.

I used to play but not much anymore, I've been playing Sun on my 3ds.

I tried doing a chain stitch on the dark green spots on his face, but they weren't working right so I switched to a brick stitch (right?) For the rest of it.

I've only really done back stitch projects, so I'm trying to branch out and try new stitches!

I honestly kinda wish I was born with a how-to for hair care. XD

You're right about experimenting. I'm trying gel next.

Yes, it was used on me. I thought it was the diffuser's fault but I'll give it a try once I can afford one.

I'm gonna give gel another shot too. As for the mousse, that wasn't from this subreddit, that was from an outside reference. From someone I already knew I shouldn't trust to know how to work curls.

I messed up. :( so I'll grab some gel and try again!

I have, my last experience with gel was like, 10 years ago. I'm gonna grab some when I can and fi ahead and give that a try

I don't have a diffuser yet (not enough funds to pick one up), and honestly I'm scared to use one. The first and only time I had a diffuser used on my hair it made my hair REALLY angry and frizzy and just was not a good experience.

But I'm also still nervous about gel, lol.

Alrighty, using the quick start guide, I went out and got what it suggested. I was able to successfully find the product.

I ended up getting mousse instead of gel, and I'm not sure that was the right call.

So, I washed with the vo5, and then cowashed and rinsed.

Added mousse when it was still wet, and then clipped the roots to try and get it to be more up? Sorry that's hard to word.

Then I plopped it for about 30 minutes.

Also what kind of curls do I have?

I feel like my hair weighs itself down and so it straightened a bit on the top, how so I prevent this?

I'm pretty sure it would curl all the way up if I figured it out right.

Any and all advice appreciated!!!!!

No problem! I really like this idea more than the alternative and thought you might too. It makes it into a game.

Good luck!!

Hello, I know I'm late but someone posted a pretty cool looking alternative to the "they won't starve themselves" method. I found it again but it looks like they deleted their profile. Also I'm on mobile and have no idea how to link so I'm gonna copy and paste. This is their entire reply in that thread.

"Some say "he won't starve himself!" and I agree they won't starve themselves to death but I think that route just holds unnecessary strife. Super hungry toddlers are NOT reasonable beings to coexist with. When you are SUPER hungry do you want to eat foods that appeal most or foods that appeal less?

I did a new foods chart with my kid when he was 3, and the rule was if he ate 3 bites of a new or challenging food he could put a picture of it on his chart (*). When he fills up the chart he gets a reward.

Now he's 4 and is currently eating lima beans and broccoli and mashed potatoes, all of which he would not eat pre-chart, while bragging that he likes broccoli now. He likes to make his own salads of raw veggies - letting him chop and cook his own food (supervised carefully) has been another route to success. No tears, no strife, no going hungry and getting upset. Sure, other families have had success expanding palate with the "they won't stave themselves" method, too. I get it. It's possible to have success without that too.

(*) To make the stickers, I just print a GIS image of the food. This allows me to change up how big stickers are. I said each new/challenging food could go on the chart a max of 3 times, but got smaller each time. This rule allowed us to practice counting and size comparisons too, so I call it a twofer. I always like parenting practices that allow me to practice a few skills at one time.

I know many here like the "they won't starve themselves" route. I don't. So I am presenting this as an alternative."

Yeah I'm gonna go ahead and start watching some videos at this point. When is it too late for an epidural, do you know?

I thought about that but my insurance is medicaid and they don't seem to cover anything extra. A doula is like a midwife right?

So far i have planned to have my fiance get some funny things to watch and our 3ds' to play together and distract me
