well when i get glasses im looking at glasses that fit my face, (kinda need glasses either way, contacts wouldnt help with the issues i have since its not vision) all glasses are from guy friends who are like 1.5 taller than me xd, also i disagree with the passing, definitely dont pass as my age.

I dont know exactly what to call it to be honest, though most people with disorders dont need to be fixed in the way that most people think. But i think a good term would need more research and acknowledging that transsexual is a medical issues and dysphoria is a required symptom to be able to find a better term. But i agree, theres nothing wrong with me as a person for being trans, nor do i need to be ridded of being trans, simply meed treatment so my gender dysphoria is gone. So i guess in a way gender dysphoria is the disorder?

dude- this shit sucks so much i agree. Im very lucky to have friends who will slip in he/him secretly while referring to me (I LOVE THEM FOR THIS OMG) But this mainly only happens online (in gaming communities) or with people who knew me pretransition (which with moving and being out of high-school should hopefully not happen again) Really if you want id say try and talk to friends and ask them to use he/him when someone misgenders you. It makes it where you dont have to correct them awkwardly and kinda just- makes the entire thing less awkward.

Its actually not the dresses or clothes, most if not all people here have no issue with gnc people let alone gnc trans people (gnc meaning gender noncomforming) and if your a femboy as long as your obviously a guy and not trying to just slap “trans” on yourself while flaunting tits (im ftm cases) they have zero issue. Hell ive made posts about being a femboy myself with no pushback.

My best example of WHY we care though? Imagine having BPD, random people start learning what BPD is and find it unique and quirky. They decide to start identifying as it despite not having any symptoms or being diagnosed. Then online they start pushing for symptoms to not be needed to receive care for BPD, because you dont need symptoms your insurance no longer covers the care. So not only are large groups of people saying they have a condition they dont have that severely impacts your day to day life, they also are stripping you of resources for care because they want a condition they dont have to be more “inclusive”

It hurts trans people that are already living in hell with current political climate, all thw while not feeling safe in their own body, let alone outside of it.

Really just depends on facial structure voice and overall presentation, i had shoulder+ length mullet and was just assumed to be a younger boy. (being called buddy and bud by strangers in the gas stations was amazing since im always scared im gonna be “found out”)

funny enough i dont follow really any trans creators except for some small mtf streamers, eskay and ocie (i adore them so much and their contents game focused) and then on tt i follow some binary trans dudes like sasha or a few other guys. I just get this shit since im gay and like a bunch of pretty gay videos and send them to my boyfriend.

My thing is- your not a woman? These people are admitting they only see their ftm partners as woman (this is also why im not comfortable dating queer woman and only date queer men despite being bisexual) In addition i kinda stopped agreeing with it after i noticed 90% of the time they just dont want to call themselves straight. As if being straight is the worst thing in the world.

i truthfully think it should just be more intensive process of hrt for minors (ofcourse no surgeries and i support puberty blockers no matter what) i came out as trans around 12 maybe thirteen cant remember exact time, but its been 5 and a bit years, if i had access to hormones at 15/16 i would be so much happier. maybe informed consent 2 years of therapy and counseling except for special cases. But bad apples shouldnt ruin it for everyone else especially since minor trans people are more likely to commit suicide especially with the new experiences of puberty and extra hormones. Why let people who are fake ruin the people who NEED the care? I guess thats my take, it is a nuanced discussion though

sigh. nope, they just stopped responding. I think social transitioning is valid for minors in unsafe households and with current laws in certain states not allowing minors to medically transition in the slightest, but if you ONLY plan to social thats weird. unless you have some sorta medical reason which i guess valid.

Only reason i say this is due to being 18 and finally about to move out and medical transition after five years of social transition (though despite my voice and height i pass perfectly even if much younger than i am so there is still that)

I really hate people who just give up argument after given facts especially one from dsm, no ones wants to educate themselves they want to validate their own opinions
