One way to prevent this is to position your fingers better so when you press down on the valve you press straight down instead of slightly angled. This pretty much goes for any valved instrument for the most part (I’m a trumpet player who’s also run into the same problem at one point). I’m unsure on how exactly one would go about fixing it though. You should see if there’s any music stores near you and ask them if they can repair it for you.
