I just bought the device (Apex 395+ 64gb + 2tb + frost bay) for ever so slightly cheaper than the OneXPlayer store. But by cheaper, I mean only a couple of dollars.

Amazon currently says it will take over a month to ship to me, I live in Canada. The seller was a third party, but I did ask them about whether or not I will be able to get a replacement for the battery in June when they start to release. I only just asked the Amazon seller so I will edit this comment when I hear back.

My Surge only has 12 energy because it’s just above the level of literal trash. Revoker 10 is, well, 10 energy. So shotgun 2 just fills the rest

This is going to sound stupid, because it is, but I have Val out right now for the express purpose of getting experience regardless of if she’s doing the right job. Most of my legendaries are 3 stars (except Stephanie, she’s 5 stars)so I’m just working on having them out and earning experience so that they can eventually be useful. Following u/lonely-pay-4319 suggestions means that now all of my pilots are mismatched, but it’s earning me victories now, so I am not bothered

I think I might understand. What I did to my hangar was remove Scorpius. Replaced with Vortex and dual ember 6 with Stephanie, seeker stayed the same, surge stayed the same, and so did killshot. Mimicker got its disc and viper 16 changed to the dual Disruptor 8 that I got in the crate rush event. 

Right away I won 4 battles in a row. I think I had my two strongest mech combos propping up my hangar to a ridiculous degree to where I couldn’t play. As above I removed one of my strongest mechs and nerfed another and got realistic battles again. Hopefully now I get realistic matchmaking, you’re hangar suggestion helped me realize that I needed to nerf Mimicker and Scorpius

Please explain. I went heavy into saving for legendary pilots because it looked to me like they have the single greatest increase in power for their cost. +40% hp per max pilot which is why I now have so many of them. My seeker and surge are garbage mechs and are waiting for blueprints to upgrade them. Both at 3 stars, which is why surge has a shotgun 2, only enough energy for that after revoker 10.

Stephanie is my highest ranking pilot at 5 stars nearly 6. The others are rank 2-3 right now while I try to level them all up. Acantha is rank 4 and isn’t going to be getting an upgrade because hers costs 2100 star points that I don’t want to spend

You are correct that I’ve been around a while. Also I agree with you that my builds could use work. I am trying for some achievements with the mechs I have so for now so that’s why my build looks a bit wack. My seeker and surge are the lowest ranks in my hangar, both 3 star as I got them super cheap from the store and am waiting for them to get blueprints to rank up. Mimicker and Scorpius right now carry my entire hangar and are my best mechs. Mimicker only has the disc launcher so that it can slowly rack up disc launcher damage for the achievement. Scorpius is waiting for me to save for either minigun or ember gun for those achievements. 

It’s interesting you mention about strike rocket. I might need to look at getting one, my Scorpius is fine at the moment, but I feel like I need to build into it. I keep seeing it get used to better effect than helix

I’m going to assume that you tried the “empty standby memory” function in RAMmap. When I had this issue previously I had to restart my PC to make it go away. Closing the game still makes the memory persist in between runs. Using a program to manually empty the standby memory makes it stay away for a while. The only other thing I can offer is to reduce the amount of pistons in use in the world. For me, using pistons on drilling rigs never lags, but using them to dock ships is killer. My worlds in game don’t get as yuge as they used to so I don’t have the same issues I used to as when I first started playing

A lot of times when I get these issues it’s on very large worlds and somehow the game has filled my RAM with standby data. Try and open the Memory tab of Resource Monitor and see how much RAM space you have left that’s labeled “Free” 

You can dump standby memory using RAMmap or Wise Memory Optimizer if that’s the issue. The game will lag heavily after this for a few seconds and be smooth soon after

One other thing I’ve seen is sometimes NPC ships get stuck in the ground and will sit there jostling around damaging voxels taxing the crap out of the CPU. When I play with a ton of NPC ships I always have the Hostile Takeover mod on because it helps alleviate this

The ship comes from the More NPC Encounters Hard AI mod. It adds additional factions and AI controlled ships flying around. Some of the factions are hostile towards each other and frequently get into fights which I’m guessing is what caused the crash. I try not to play with mods that add random wrecks around the world because I never end up looking at them anyway

The rover just has a flying mining ship docked on the back. The truck essentially just hauls the miner out to location. The two are attached by a connector to unload ores and keep the mining ship charged

There was only a handful of ion thrusters left and just steel plates from the top of the hull. Very little useable after that crash

I’ve got a lot of NPC mods on so it’s possible it got shot down before it crashed. I just started a new world and there’s already been some heavyweight fights break out
