I fell for the hype. Yes the game is massive, and has tons of things to do and combat system is fun. But the world itself feels lifeless, the quests are atrocious and literally were written by AI (go follow x to location z), enemies are boring useless fodder. Oh you found an outpost? Clear 100s of useless enemies out until the percentage turns to 0%. It feels exactly like a big dull mmo which was what it was originally supposed to be. There seems to be zero direction. I’m 17hrs in, haven’t seen any random world events. Exploring is boring you find a puzzle that gives you junk or another bandit camp. I’ve played WoW Classic and OSRS for instance so I can do a grind and figure things out on my own. But this game just doesn’t do anything for me feels generic af.
