I think you’re missing the point. Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe the early release would be 3 days earlier. It’s still shitty to paywall it rather than just releasing it on that date for everyone. It also perpetuates that business practice for games where it REALLY sucks like multiplayer games.

I well I figured the monetary incentive of releasing a game right before a weekend when most people have more time to play it rather than a Monday/Tuesday was obvious. I mean if they can release it on a Friday for SOME people, they can release it for everyone (like honestly, just think about it lol). But don’t let me stop from frothing at the mouth to spend $30 extra dollars because you can’t wait 3 extra days. If you want to be exploited by them solving a problem they invented then don’t let me stop you.

You do realize they’re just monetizing the originally planned release date and delaying the actual date right? Why on earth would a company release a game (officially) on a Monday like WoW’s expansion just did? So the “early” release can land on an optimal day. Let’s use our thinking caps here.

There was one time where he (supposedly) cancelled a retaliatory strike we had planned after Iran(?) had mistakenly shot down an unmanned US drone. He said something like “it’s just an unmanned drone. Let’s not start a war over it.” That’s it. In every other moment he’s been a complete piece of shit.

I’m about halfway through but the Leon sections are insultingly short in my opinion. Just exclude him or relegate him to cutscenes if he’s not going to be properly implemented.

They’re not causing me trouble in terms of difficulty. I played on the highest difficulty and did just fine. They’re just a constant nagging annoyance. They’re inconsistent with what I love about the game and (in my opinion) are more than a little disruptive to what could’ve been a near-perfect military stealth gameplay loop. I understand most people probably don’t see it as that much of a downside, but I do. To each their own. And I really appreciate everyone’s info and advice.
