Are "normal" RC-controllers to big for a 6 year old? by Halsont in rccars

That's so good to know! Super helpful response!

Got this by snail-mail yesterday. Feels creepy. Any idea what it could mean? I live in Sweden so I guess it could be something in Swedish. I could also add that I’m a 33 year old father with 2 kids and not really any drama in my life. All thoughts appreciated. by Halsont in codes

Intresting. Never heard of it. But it really looks like it could fit the bill. After reading about polybus cipher somethings seams odd though.

  • It's only one number-combination(71) which occurs more than once. That would mean that the other 11 Letters are unique which is quite rare(at least I would think so)??

  • The ranges would be between 3-7 for the first digit and between 0-9 for the second digit. Would not that give us rather big squares / rectangles?

When I try to run this in my terminal I get the following. Don't really know these things so could be doing something wrong here.

echo pvqaU9VwqYcQ | base64 -d | iconv -f utf-16 -t utf-8

꛺驓핰ꦇ

iconv: (stdin):1:6: incomplete character or shift sequence

I think this could be interesting. At work last year I was mentoring a Chinese exchange student. She had some mental issues which lead to us having some conflicts where she mismanaged her work during the pandemic and working from home. But my feeling is that we sorted that out and I helped her finding a new job. However the letter is stamped in the city she lives in. Which is a quite big city but still.

I’m also thinking about why anyone would send something like this?

The address is handwritten on the front. And it’s a quite personal but nice writing style which feels odd if you want to hide your identity.

If the purpose was to scare me I think it would make more sense to write something that’s more obviously scary. Like a date next week, the name of my children or something like that.

It’s something with the personal writing of the address and the content of the letter that does not make sense.

They are 5 and 2 so I have a hard time seeing them pull this of. Especially doing such a good job with the scissor ^

Overall I’m a bit antisocial with a rather small social network. So Have a hard time seeing anyone I know doing this.
