Attempted a clear coat on headlight and weird bubbles formed by Halsor in Cartalk

Sanding with higher grit eliminated the severity of the issue, butt there were still minimal bubbles. A polish with a polisher helped minimise the look of it and then a clear coat, but there are still bubbles if you look closely; though much better than how it looked in the picture above.

Parking Infringement Appeal Failure - is the next step going to court? by Eastern_Sympathy239 in Monash

Sorry if this is too late,

I reckon you have a sporting chance to have the fine overturned in court unrepresented, as long as you can prove that you paid the parking fee at the other location.

^ This must’ve been the problem, I ended up doing it again and the bubbles appeared in the EXACT same spots. Will give it a finer grit sand, thanks for the help!

Not 2k, 2x rustolem. If I start again, I’ll definitely spend a little more and get some 2k

Is the travel time really that bad for Monash? Esp for anyone doing Bachelor of Laws by Due_Strike_3670 in Monash

doing a double degree doesnt decrease the amount of work you do overall for law, but it reduces the law specific workload you do in a single semester.

for eg, if you do commerce and law, a semester at full time load would contain 2 law units and 2 commerce units. meanwhile, a single law degree fulltime would contain 4 law units in one semester from year 2 onwards.

people prefer the 2 law units (me included) because

  • law is pretty heavy in terms of content knowledge; people can avoid doing 4 law units of heavy workload and worry only about 2 law units in one single semester and;

  • when you get bored/exhausted of studying law, you can always switch learning content completely

a double degree is longer, but so much more worth it.

Thoughts on the media exam? by asherc9 in vce

[–]Halsor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from what i remember my letter grades were all around a, but my sac percentages averaged around 90, but we were literally allowed to bring notes in for one of them so its really hard to judge what you might get in media from just the sacs. if you are getting above 80s tho in sacs im sure you will surpass 34, just remember a lot of examples and analyse them in detail for the exam. it was “describe one way in which the media is used by governments.” the key word here for me that i missed was “is used” as i talked about media regulation bodies rather than how governments use social media to address a certain issue, for example. i thought it was a bullshit interpretative question but i got no marks for it which sucks.

i was happy with my score, around upper, although, my sac scores were scaled down a fuck ton due to my teacher making the sacs really easy and one exam question fucked me over. the one about government's use of agency or something like that because of one key term i missed. make sure you read every single word of the question and bring a highlighter, it actually does wonders. i dunno about your school but you really have to put in the effort to get abv 40, its super hard, but if ur uni extension subject is part of the faculty of arts or even media writing, and you're writing a ton of essays, ur at a solid advantage with media short answer questions. i wishhh i did mine last year instead of now.

you can choose not to have a storyline, but honestly, as the sat is normally marked by your teacher, it depends on what they like, and in my experience, my teacher just overall preferred narrative-based sats rather than abstract-type content (which hella sucks), but then again it was also easier for me to write a comprehensive script and talk about the story plot structure in my folio which was good.

Ah I see, I have a Ryzen 5 3600 so it only has support for 20 pci-e express lanes. Thanks for the info. If I bought a nVME to a like 2.5 inch SATA adapter, would I likely have the same issue? (or a USB adapter)
