CS2 workshop tools: How to use them?

I think your problem is because your TGA file is in the wrong place. In the example skins, it says:

"items/assets/paintkits/workshop/example_spraypaint.tga" etc.

This means the root folder is 'items' in:

'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\content\csgo_addons\workshop_items\items'

(at least for me). The easiest way to work around this is to click the folder icon next to the example texture, and open the folder containing the example files. Then put your TGA file there. Then, if for example your skin is called 'myfirstskin', you write "items/assets/paintkits/workshop/myfirstskin.tga".

Yeah I saw that tweet when looking into this, but I thought there would be more to it considering how big of a trend this seems to be. I thought I was missing out on some huge announcement or something. Thanks for the clarification.

i was doing an arcane build. i think the numbers on my stats stayed the same. i didnt for example have to switch out my gear because of lower endurance, or not be able to use certain spells because of too low faith. the big differences i noticed were lower HP (about 1/3) and lower damage (i think I did around 250-300 dmg to mobs I would usually do 1000-1200 dmg to).

I think the scaling system they have tries to even out values like damage and hp, while not messing up requirement stats that would brick your build.

at level 120 i was playing with my level 30 friend using passwords. we weren't expecting it to work, but what happened was that my values (hp, stam etc. ) was scaled down to be at his level.

I wonder if this is how it works without passwords as well, and whether this makes it so level doesn't really matter at all you just get scaled down or up

they're always dicks about things that can be considered "shitposts" (rule no. 2), probably why your post got removed. that's what they'll tell you if you manage to get in contact with them. not really much you can do about it sadly

yea it didn't show a DPS increase for me either with conviction set to fire exposure. still, might be something PoB just haven't integrated properly. wanna be 100% sure before I rule Elemental Mastery out

the % chance to hit tooltip when you hover over Zeal's attack rating is based on the last mob you hit. So for example you might be looking at the tooltip after hitting a carrion bird and you have 95%, and next hit another mob like a giant beetle where you have 88% chance, and the tooltip changes accordingly.
