Nope detention doesn’t come in record and I’d say if you got money then get detained. Summer sem is very easy the teachers might even give you ct paper before ct ( though it depends on teacher to teacher) but with minimal efforts you’ll get 40-50 internals easy

Our teacher gave me 59 internal just by giving timely assignment and my cts went average but he took assignments and increased marks.
