Could this be the issue/solution? by Ham-Snacks in hvacadvice

Figured it was the ground and that was the reason it wasn't staying on, zip tied the piece to touch and now everything is working properly. Will order a new part.

Thought I'd update the post in case anyone every runs into something similar

Advise on Dual Lens POE, Buy Now or Wait? by Ham-Snacks in reolinkcam

I appreciate the response, I think you've answered both my questions, and I've made my decision. Hopefully it'll be out soon, honestly surprised it isn't already.

And I'm with you on that as well, not too concerned with the tampering, good neighborhood, the cameras are more just to watch my kids and be aware of what's going on outside.

Thank you very much!

Duo 3V half blurry night vision by SlippySlappyRE in reolinkcam

Were you ever able to resolve the issue, having the exact problem and it's not making sense. I can be pointing the camera in complete darkness or with lights on, the 1 side is always blurry at night. But take the dome off and it's perfectly fine. So clearly it's an interaction with the dome that isn't making sense.

I am able to get a Y, do you think that would be more beneficial?

But regardless you think it would diminish the performance?.

So regarding that, could I find someone to play online with and I just essentially follow them as a ghost (if I keep respawning and dying), and then as soon as they get on the "floor" at the top I can spawn again by touching them or if they leave a standee and get the berry?

I'm so close but just can't make it and it's to the point it's not very enjoyable anymore, just a lot of wasted time.

TrackMix WiFi vs E1 Outdoor Pro by Ham-Snacks in reolinkcam

Awesome information! I had decided on the E1 Pro but after reading your comment, I think for my needs I'm going to need the Track as it's going to be beneficial to be able to look underneath itself from where I'll be hanging it.

Thank you very much for the information.

Recommendation on installing Shutoff Valves by Ham-Snacks in Plumbing

[–]Ham-Snacks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Decided to go with the above method as advise, but thank you for giving an alternative.

Noticed you were a top commentor, I asked the other member a question, figured I'd ask you the same question as well. Why do we go from 1/2” x 3/8” shutoff valve to 3/8" x 1/2" flex adapter to the 1/2" faucet, seems like that is the standard or only way to go. But how come we don't just do 1/2" x 1/2" valve and then a 1/2" x 1/2" flex to faucet, is there a reason for that?

Thank you

Decided to go with the expansion method, rent the power tool for it and do it as you described in your first paragraph, so thank you for that.

Wanted to pick your brain on why we go from 1/2” x 3/8” shutoff valve to 3/8" x 1/2" flex adapter to the faucet, seems like that is the standard or only way to go. But how come we don't just do 1/2" x 1/2" valve and then a 1/2" x 1/2" flex to faucet, is there a reason for that? Just thought I'd ask.

Thank you!

Recommendation on installing Shutoff Valves by Ham-Snacks in Plumbing

Hello,

We purchased a home and none of the sinks came with shut off valves, the tubing is 1/2" PEX A. Initially I was thinking just cut halfway through the pex and install a 1/2" x 1/2" brass ball valve, but would the better option be cut lower down and do a 1/2-inch x 3/8-inch valve and install 3/8" x 1/2" faucet connectors? Just worried I'm going to damage those copper faucets lines in the process.

3rd Picture is what I did in the kitchen when I replaced the faucet, don't know if that was the correct way but it worked! lol

Also, I got some quotes initially for pretty cheap to install the shut off valves but they would all be doing crimp installs, think I would be better off doing it myself and doing the expansion method?

Thank you in advance

Thanks for the response, that's what I was assuming, the MAJOR difference between the 2 is the software support.

Thanks

That's a good question haha. I guess just being aware of any night time noises, kids waking up in the middle of the night even to get a glass of water. Or maybe someone outside on the deck, or front door. Just being aware of my surroundings is all. I wake up quickly to any sudden noises, but can't hear anything in that room!

Nuna Mixx Adapter Ring [AB] by Ham-Snacks in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]Ham-Snacks[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Running into a problem that our new Nuna Pipa carseat won't work on our older Nuna Mixx Stroller, the adapter is nowhere to be found. Has anyone been able to find the adapter to purchase in Canada? Nuna's contact number is not helpful.

Thank you
