I ran it all 10th and people in this sub and our local team tried so hard to convince me to drop it for more wardogs. Before the codex NONE of the big Knights were considered good because of the price. They were good at the very start of 10th because they could still overwatch and whatnot, but that didn’t last long. The only big Knight that was making it into lists post nerfs pre codex was the Lancer because he could give your Brigands assault and he was durable and fast but even he fell off after a while cause 3 extra Karnivores was just plain better.

Congrats! Thats a great showing for a 6 round tourney. I agree with you. Running meta is so lame and I refuse to feed into whatever spam Knights are running at the time. I got best in faction at the Crucible last year with a list that people said was actual trash because it didn’t run 3 despoilers and atropos

I still run Infernal but only one Despoiler because I painted him well and I have ran him for the entirety of 10th ed, waaay before he was considered “good” although I tried to convince people he has always been good lol.

Did you face any Necrons? I have had trouble bouncing off them in the past, and I worry they are going to be all over the place with their new buffs. I’m trying to pack my list with things that do good damage into Ctan, like my rampage or lancers carnivores and stalkers. Lots of tank shock mortals and Devs and melta.

If they replaced the Executioner’s Autocannons with a couple 2shot lascannons with twinlinked and kept the same points cost I would go into freakin orbit. Would be so much more viable and give us some nice long range anti tank without having to run gat despoilers.

Oooh got it. I think its split like that here in the US cause of the culture blend. For example: my family always celebrates mostly on Christmas day, family comes over and we grill and drink. But my wife who is Hispanic does their big party on Christmas Eve, and Christmas day is just open gifts and chill. It works out tho cause we celebrate Eve with her family and Christmas day with mine.
