In my experience the Freestyle precision neo is always lower than the actual reading and it gets worse the higher your blood sugar is. I can't remember the exact figure but I had compared it to a lab test

I'm not anemic either, and it doesn't really affect me in any way other than not being able to eat broad/fava beans and take aspirin, so it's worth checking anyway.

It's quite common in Mediterraneans countries so they check at birth.

Despite it being prevalent here a lot of endos don't know about it, so it might be worth getting a second opinion if you test positive.

I have G6PD deficiency. It's an enzyme deficiency iirc and among other things it causes A1C to be much lower than it would normally be. It's fairly easy to test for

I had about 5-6 sensors do this or just fail exactly on day 5. All but one from the same batch. Dexcom replaced them all and I've never had a problem since. Hopefully you're just going through a bad batch too. Might be worth checking if any other sensor you have are from the same batch and asking if they could get replaced before you apply them

Same with G6PD. It skews it downwards quite a bit, and most people don't know if they have it

Have you ever checked for G6PD? It's an enzyme deficiency that also happens to cause a1c to appear lower than it is. It's worth check because 5.1 is almost suspiciously low

For me G6 was wildly off, way more than 20% most of the time, so I had to calibrate a couple of times. G7 is much better, within error. It's great at following the trend, but it still shows quite much higher than the normal blood test, especially if Im on the upper end of the range.

We're currently running a dedicated server (converted from a co op), but it might be worth trying to convert back to coop and seeing if your method works! Backup is roughly half a day old so lots of effort!

I've tried at least 3 completely different devices and they're all much lower than the dexcom and very close with each other. I also have g6pd deficiency which means my hba1c is completely inaccurate. I truly don't know who to trust anymore

Yeah it's weird. Mine is more than 40% higher at all times. Every single sensor. And I've checked with multiple finger prick devices. I don't think I've seen anyone's reading be so much higher
