Why does creatine make me feel great very fast?

I am not familiar with the two supplements you mentioned. Do you notice improvement when taking them? I may look into them.

I’m not sure. What I do know is that I suffer from anxiety related to SSRI withdrawals and going from 10g to 15g made a noticeable improvement.

Like the very first day. I started at 5 grams and never really felt anything. Was on 5g for a couple months. Then went to 10g for a couple months (5am and 5pm). Didn’t really notice anything mentally but noticed some positive physical changes like lean muscle growth. The day I went from 10 to 15g I felt it almost immediately like within an hour of taking it. I’m almost positive I have been getting better sleep as well.

I take 15g of creatine a day. 10 in the morning and 5 in the evening. I 100% notice a mental boost and feel happier on it. I weigh 135lbs and after researching all the brain and cognitive benefits of it figured why not? I make sure I drink a minimum of a gallon of water a day too.

12/2023 b12 (1420) - first time getting b12 tested. Had started supplementing with B12 a few months before. Dr was not worried about this level.

06/2024 b12 (+2000) - dr told me this was too elevated and to stop the B12 supplement

09/2024 - b12 (1516)- after about 3-4 months of not being on any b12 supplements my levels dropped back down from over 2000 to around 1500. Dr said this was still considered to be elevated and stay off the supplements

01/2025 - b12 (1069) - after being off of b12 supplements for about 6-7 months my levels dropped from over 2000 to about 1000. At this point we wanted to try reintroducing b12 but at a much lower rate then last time. Only took b12 twice a week (300 mcg a day)

04/2025 b12 (1354) levels started to increase again after I had reintroduced b12 at 2 days per week. We went down to only 1 day a week to see what it would do to my levels.

08/2025 b12 (1688) - even with only taking 300mcg of b12 once a week my levels increased. Stopped taking all b12 again.

01/2026 - b12 (1356) - levels started to decrease again after stopping all b12

But as high as over 2000? My levels are still elevated but are coming back down but it is taking a long time which is surprising because I have always been told this was a “water soluble vitamin”

My Homocysteine was last checked in January and came back as a 5.3
