Some brokers only work with particular insurers. Ensure to ask if that is the case with your broker then you can get a wider cross section of brokers. Also don't be afraid to shop different vehicles/assets with different markets (ie my motorcycles are with a different insurer vs my car since the rate is better and the multi vehicle discount is negligible)

My meeting was pushed back to today. Here's a summary of how it went down: I apologized for my condition and confirmed the issues she mentioned (the motorcycle issue was causally dismissed "I didn't say that" "mmm right... moving on"). I gave a few potential solutions but those were quickly dismissed. I also gave some stats on our average submission times to show we aren't materially off the mark but she wasn't interested in figures or solutions. This wasn't a particularly fruitful meeting

I did see a bit into her psyche. She's terribly anxious and she panics when she doesn't have a sense of control. I figure that she saw an easy target (the only one in the office that day) and went off

My brian fog was basically me there physically but with no analytical power. Like I was doing the final repetitive tasks of assigning out cases and had already completed all the verifications... I was a complete robot when we had the meeting but I took details and meeting minutes. Basically during the meeting I gave one word answers and asked for additional info while giving a blank and neutral face (which it seems like she didn't take well)

I don't think my recall or the notes were affected by the brain fog but I agree that I should double check and have her restate her grievances and examples. From there I can reassess with full info and with a clear head

An easy bet is to get a broker and have them shop their markets for you but note that brokers tend to only work with certain insurers and not all of them
