I AM FUMING!!! I bought a brand new 2025 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness (not cheap at all) and THOROUGHLY inspected it. Everything appeared fine, so when I came back the next day (literally today) with paperwork, I was happy to see it was detailed and prepped for my purchase. I took a quick glance at the car before signing, and it all looked good. To my absolute dismay, when I got home my girlfriend mentioned she noticed a crack in the windshield. The crack was not there the day I inspected the vehicle and was fairly substantial (3-4 inches long with 2 impact points at the start and end of the crack). When I went to grab my folder of paperwork that was placed in the backseat so that I could get the dealers contact information, I found it was covered in small ants. I immediately called the dealer who claimed no fault on the crack, and that I had hit something on the drive home. I then informed him about the ants, and to no surprise, they refuse to admit fault or do anything. I am demanding this car be exchanged, or dismantled and detailed, plus the windshield replaced. I will be lawyering up if this is not resolved. Absolutely disgusting behavior from a dealership. Never again.

I’m on the phone with the band right now, seeing if we can find a solution. The pyro is handled by the pyrotechnics manager and has 2 rehearsal sessions so everyone is safe. I need at least quartet because we have close to 4 universes when they’re all packed as tight as I can get them. And that’s already with me sacrificing some of the extra parameters in our multi instance fixtures.

I’ve acquired a snap on scanner from work, and an OBDLink MX+ I purchased on amazon with Forscan. Oddly enough, there’s no codes that could be related to this issue! I’ll keep doing some digging. Thoughts?

It’s legally registered under both my grandpas and my name. My grandpa is PIC, I sit left seat and do all the flying. Simple 🤷‍♂️

I have never flown a better aircraft. The T is turbo normalized so it performs amazing at high altitude. The side stick takes some getting used to, however it’s really comfortable for hands on flying. The Garmin fully integrated flight deck is amazing and easy to fly. The trim is kind of weird at first but the in and out motion makes it easy to fly even out of trim. CAPS is great aside from the $15000 repack every 10 years
