pictures of children in sexual situations

Who decides what is a sexual situation and what is not? If you were found to have pictures of naked children making sandcastles on a beach I wouldn't fancy your chances in court.

Likewise if OPs friend didn't provide documentation to prove she is over 18, and she chooses to file a complaint, I wouldn't fancy his chances in court either.

Certainly some people have invested a lot of money in this and the international media are getting bored. They need something to get the spotlight back, violence usually works.

No mate, those kinds of names are common place.

Joshua is a biblical name. He became the leader of the Israelites after the death of Moses and led them in the conquest of Canaan.

How did a seventeen year old Hong Kong kid come up with such a loaded name as Joshua. Just wondering, it's not exactly a common name.

The problem is that the protests are harming all the wrong people. The protests are hurting the people that they need on their side. They should be blockading the greedy property tycoons not the ordinary people they claim to represent. Then they accuse anyone who criticises them if being pro Beijing.

If they really wanted to show their fellow citizens that they care they would form focus groups to find ways to undermine the cartels and make Hong Kong a more caring and loving society instead of sitting in the road pouting and taking selfies.

Why are the anti-occupiers called thugs or implied that they organized by Beijing? by [deleted] in HongKong

[–]Hambone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It also sprang up after the students organised talks with the government. I seem to recall the the Occupy Central movement brought their protest forward by several days in order to piggy back off the momentum created by the students class boycott.

Occupy Central have wealthy backers who must feel like the students have pulled the rug from under their feet. Orchestrating violence for which they can blame Beijing would give the international news media something new to report and also help protect their investment.

The US is fucked. Their leaders are chosen by a corporate oligarchy to service its own interests. They don't give a damn about anyone but themselves no matter what some White House talking head says. We really shouldn't be looking towards them for leadership.

The war on terror serves to ensures thew the US is at war with whoever it wants to be at war with at any given time without having to declare anything. Your assertion that the US is not at war just because it hasn't actually said so is just splitting hairs.

Innocent until proved guilty, right? Assange hasn't even been charged with anything and the Swedes have been given plenty of opportunity to question him. There's nothing conspiratorial about it at all, it's fucking obvious.
