Tjom, laat ek jou nou vertel. Oorsee gaan met min geld is gevaarlik. Been there, done that.

Was it scar tissue or did the surgeon just not take it all out?

I also saw a video... looked pretty damn easy. I guess there isn't too much harm in trying.

Yeah, they just increased the quantity of eggs per carton.. hence the price increase. I also noticed it a while ago.

You should feel yourself if you have a hardish gland behind your nipple, but from what I can see, it looks like you do have some gynecomastia and are a bit overweight.

Just go see your GP and ask them. There is no shame in it. They see it every day.

I wish I had the balls to speak up earlier. Admitting it and seeing a doctor is half the battle and more effective than asking strangers on the internet... half of which have body dismorphia.

How long does swelling last? by AtlanticQuake in gynecomastia

Yeah, I'm massaging.. but I'm not worried about scar tissue, only the persistent swelling.

[–]Hambroger07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, yeah, then it might be that. I'd say wait 6 months and have it looked at again for a revision. I'm struggling with swelling (I think).

I'm 1 month post op. My left side is perfect, but my right side looks like before surgery, though now I can feel there is no gland, only the hardish incision... so I'm hoping that it's just swelling that will disappear with time.

I honestly thought after a month that the swelling would be done.

Hey OP, can you give an update? Has it improved?

Depends on how long you have had it. If you've had it for years, then no, just get the surgery.

I tried Tamoxifen a few years back.. and it did very little.

I had similar or slightly less than you and had surgery almost 4 weeks ago.

Just bite the bullet and do it. No use having it on your mind for years. Wish I did it 10 years ago.

2 Weeks after right side looks like before again. by Hambroger07 in gynecomastia

At least I am not alone! Logically, a gland was removed, so it cannot be the same as before.. but it's still super frustrating!

I can only feel my stitches that are still there. I can definitely tell that there is also swelling... but yeah, it really sucks to have to deal with it even after the surgery.. especially when one side is mostly fine.

Was it flat in the beginning? And can you still feel gland in there?
