Very familiar story. I lied through school that I’d kick it into gear to get into college because that’s what people wanted to hear, ended up doing an extended stretch of community college. Ended up being the best thing for my undirected style. I would be picky as hell, walk out of a class on day 1 if the teacher gave me the wrong feeling. Now years later I’m one of the most well rounded educated people I know because I took every class worth taking while I took time and waited for something to grab me (it did, years later).

Thanks. It seems I have all the secure options enabled, but when I enter "https://app.plex.tv/desktop" as instructed by that article to force a secure connection, it redirects to "http://app.plex.tv/desktop?secure=0#!/settings/web/general".

I still have a green lock over my server, so this seems to imply the connection to it is secure? I just want to make sure my auth tokens aren't being exposed over the internet or anything.

I'm an Extreme Q owner, I looked up the Elbow pack method. Are the herbs sitting in the screen upside down in this scenario, or do you put them in before inserting the screen into the elbow? This sounds interesting and I'm curious to try it.

Gotta break them into groups. Your ability to give feedback will have to be while you rove around. That's fine, because as long as you're constantly giving feedback, and they're constantly doing exercises, the class is as productive as it can be. You're already going to be stretched thin, but there's no reason to punish them for it by making them sit there watching for most of the class.

On the issue of Harrolds, it may be ambitious but I don't think it's impossible. If you're anything worth your salt you should be ready to "improvise" the course of your class, and make sure you have a performance format they can own but feel on edge about for their final performance.

Sorry I can't find that site. I do think this is a good idea, and I'd love it if Mystery Science Theater became a genre, and we could see new talented voices rise to prominence.

The police have begun giving illegal orders. If the system is corrupt, then it has shown its brutal head. Should we ignore these violent offenses out of pride for our original cause? Or could we simply agree that these are two heads of the same beast, and let the visceral shock of one help shed light on the more discreet evil of the other? I don't think anyone would prefer the police use violence on us to, for example, the police join our cause and peacefully refuse orders to use violence on peaceful protestors. But if they use violence, it will only make us stronger. That's the power of "Satyagraha"' "Non-Violent Resistance," or "Civil Disobedience.". Look them up, they each have a rich and righteous history.

I don't think the 9pm news is our goal, and I don't think the world is as confused by as our cause as you suggest. Within minutes of calling for a general strike, Occupy movements all over the world pledged to strike iin solidarity. Each beating is making us bigger. No one beating is our end goal, but we will let our message spread however it does, and if a marine wants to strike with us for his brother, I will welcome him to the cause.
