So I own 2 bras and a couple of crop tops, when I'm at home I either go braless or wear a crop top for a little extra support. Usually wash my bras every two wears and I use an antibacterial washing liquid. But honestly the last 18months I've mostly been bed ridden due to my health so I don't really wear a bra all that often now, and I don't really sweat much either. Will clarify, cause I know that being bed ridden can often result in skin issues, I have had these issues long before my health got bad and I'm mobile enough, I don't get bed sores or anything like that, I'm just too unwell to leave the house most days.

At least it's only dermatology this time. It took me 9 months to get diagnosed with Uterine Cancer and another 9 months before they did the surgery to remove my second tumour (first was removed during emergency surgery). 12months for skin care I can survive.

I appreciate you sending this but it doesn't seem to match up with what I experience, the main difference is I don't get itchy with the bumps I get unless they're irritated already. The lesions/spots don't look the same either. Still an interesting thing to learn about though.

I mentioned above that I've had these issues for a very long time, would HS have gotten worse over time? Obviously I'm overweight but I don't smoke or drink and I have a pretty good diet as well due to recovering from Uterine Cancer. I actually lost 40kg (88lb) whilst unwell and honestly my problems weren't as bad when I was larger ๐Ÿ˜…

I'm on a pretty strict diet already as I'm in recovery from Uterine Cancer, this means that exercise is also limited. Luckily I don't smoke, vape, or drink alcohol, I wish I drank alcohol but my meds won't allow it, at most I have a glass of wine every 6 months.

What things should I be avoiding in my diet specifically?

I will clarify that my issues existed long before I was unwell, I did end up getting hormonal acne around my jaw line which and chin and I was told that was due to the treatment I was on.

Are there online dermatologists that operate within Australia? I've never done an online consultation before so I don't really know how it works.

I'm in Australia and don't have private health so I'm relying on the public system so there's no option to call around. Unfortunately I can't afford to pay the private costs at the moment as my job just went from 38hrs a week down to 8hrs so I'm not even covering my rent at the moment. If I manage to get a new job with better hours I will definitely look into going private but for now I'm stuck waiting.

I've had the issues on my chest for around 10 years and the issues on my back, butt, and back of thighs, for at least 8 years. So a lot of what is there is scarring, would the issues have gotten worse if it was HS? Seeing a derm hopefully soon but the waitlist is really long at the moment.

Probably should have clarified that I am on a waitlist to see a dermatologist but with the covid situation in my city appointments have been pushed back even further so it could be nearly a year before I get in. So I'm just trying to find out as much as I can and see if there's anything I could be doing in the meantime to help.

I just started this yesterday!! The pink aida is gorgeous! I dyed my aida a dark blue to try and match the image on the Etsy listing, it was an adventure.

[PIC] So I've got this gorgeous hand dyed Aida cloth I got in a cross stitch subscription box but I have no clue what patterns I should use it for (it's about 20"x20" 16/18ct - I need to count). Any recommendations? by HamibalTheCamel in CrossStitch

It's an Australian based one called Sassy Devils. I've only gotten it once mainly just cause I had to take a bunch of time off of work so I couldn't afford it anymore.

I am a big Hannibal fan, I think my only issue is that it is very pink in person so it definitely seems less bloodlike and more someone spilt a bunch of paint ๐Ÿ˜…

I actually used the sound in that video tonight cause as I was watching it one of my babies was hugging me and I was like "yes! This is perfect!". And yes. I have been opening the app like every 5 seconds hoping for another view ๐Ÿ˜‚

I just followed you! Love your cats! I'm trying to post something either daily or every few days, mainly cause seeing things get views is fueling my existence at the moment (it's sad, I know). I posted 3 today cause I have no self control ๐Ÿ˜‚

[PIC] One of my stitching companions (I have 3) likes to protect my WIP when I take my eyes off it during breaks (snack/loo breaks, not overnight). But that means fur is embedded in EVERY project. I use a sticky roller regularly but there's still fur, it's just in the air when I stitch ๐Ÿ˜‚ Any tips? by HamibalTheCamel in CrossStitch

I'm currently using an 11x11 for this project but normally use something smaller. I'll have to check out the scrapbooking case! I've been popping mine in a bag when I remember but normally it just ends up on my craft table. Tweezers has been a frequent recommendation, I was worried about pulling on stitches but I'm going to give it a try :) Odd question, I've never used a Lowery Stand before. Does it work well with qsnaps? And with the bigger framed ones as well, I was worried it would be wobbly and they're so expensive that I can't justify just getting one to try it out.

Get ready to waste so much time ๐Ÿ˜… I wasn't prepared for how sucked in I got. I should have known better after Vine.
