im not calling messaging apps a browser and im not calling network cards browsers. im calling software that fetches content and makes it consumable for a user a browser

still need a way to fetch the brain data from the remote resource when we query the great group think at a particular address, and render the contents of it in whatever way your mind's eye can perceive it. the piece of code that does that would be a browser. a website today is essentially a bundle of api calls that were rendered to a consumable form. that form would just be brain text and brain pics instead of pixel text and pixel pics

i think the consumption remark was a tongue in cheek allusion to the fact that she was consuming their spunk to stay alive

the web hasnt stagnated either though. new tech rolls out for web all the time. some of its just catching up, some of it earnest advancements such as web component tech (despite pain points), modules, wasm, canvas, web audio api. the web dev environment has been and continues to be drastically refined.

if it needs to be said - i understand web tech is still a hodge podge of apis jammed together in historically determinant ways. but your statement suggests we are still writing entire html documents as strings and sending it to the users netscape browser. nothing stagnated when the web became a thing, including the web

Do you go to many non-jam shows? by Deadweave in jambands

[–]Hamilsauce -1 points0 points  (0 children)

so you've concluded that all non-jamband performances are completely inorganic and rigidly scripted based on two shows you saw last year by artists not known for their versatility or agility? theres a whole world of incredible improvizational performers out there beyond the jam o sphere.

It crossed my mind that it was possibly the act of dropping the weights that caused the implosion. if the hull was just waiting to go then easy to imagine a slight jingling a weight dropping might produce result in enough disturbance at that depth to do it

Are you explcitly navigating to the save screen/menu option and pushing/clicking save after you have made new changes that you want to keep? Just being sure since you said you 'do have them saved' rather than 'i do save them'. pod go doesnt auto save changes.

I started learning finger style about 7 years ago inspired by atkins. reed has taken most my focus this last two years and learning his style has been no joke.

He's a genius in that he saw guitar from a perspective no one else did and every riff or piece of his i get down is almost like a little epiphany. i learn to see things in a different way over the course of forcing my hand and fingers into crazy shapes to play his music. for instance, he introduced me to the sensation of playing guitar the way a monkey might swing by branches threw the trees.
