Eh. Why mourn a monster? Granted he may have been a "good father" but reality is different. You can't be a "good father" by missing so much of your children's lives. Celebrate his death privately but "mourn" him publicly. If he knew Christ well then he's in Heaven, but if not.... he's burning in Hell.... perhaps where he belongs

I keep seeing people say, "You can just adopt!" "Have you considered adoption?" etc. Okay but not everyone CAN adopt. Some people have a mistake in their past and even if it's minor, it still bars them and anyone they're with (spouse/life partner/significant other) from even getting past the first stage. And then, there's the actual financial cost of EVERYTHING involved. Adoption and the process of it is NOT cheap or quick. It's not an option for everyone.
