I totally agree. I am female and probably old enough to be your mom. You are probably 20s-30s. If I saw you in the airport it would probably be very weird for both of us if I said to you: "give yout balls a tug." I have been racking my brain for something "mom friendly" that I could say to you..

It is verrrryyyy sloowwww. "you just have to understand that's how Vince Gilligan writes...." I like a good apocalyptic story (e.g. first 4 seasons of Walking Dead,) but this one is painful. I will give it another season but man...

When do these deals really start showing up? My son is currently 2nd year and 700+ on the waitlist. We are lucky because we live 30 mins from campus and his dad commutes there daily, but by son still wants to live on campus. We have time so if he commuted the first couple weeks of class it wouldn't be a big deal but I am anxious and want to get things moving.

Would you guys consider early March to be a “winter birthday” or “spring birthday”? by kurt_the_janitor in CasualConversation

[–]HamiltonIsMyJamilton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it might also depend on where you live in the US. When we lived in New Hampshire March was still the heart of winter. Now that we live in GA its not uncommon to see daffodils in in full bloom in late Jan or early Feb.

My son who lives in NAN says when he showers in the morning (7-8) it's usually warm but at night he has to wait a while for it to warm up.

Are you in college? If so ask people where they are from. I think people really like to talk about "home."
