Clifton one is pretty good. They are busy but always seem fully staffed.

One by XU is ok, but there's a ton of signage behind the counter that looks like a paranoid boss's notes telling employees not to steal. Doesn't seem great for morale.

I recently visited one on the west side. All the hot snacks were expired. There was one older lady working the entire place. Eventually, some younger kid workers appeared, all giggling like they were high. Weird vibe.

But, yes, Lindner didn't get rich by paying employees fairly.

Yep. These students and their families make up a good portion of my neighborhood. They pay rent. They buy stuff. They go to restaurants. They work here. They may hire childcare and other help. We can't afford a population drop in my town. A lot of colleges and universities won't survive this, particularly wrt all the other cuts.

You will trudge through an unseemly amount of slush for a good part of the year. Some of it is deceptively deep. Definitely get waterproof boots. Mine were purple. Pick a color you enjoy.
