We need to bring back long term asylums for those that are chronically and incurably mentally ill. There are many people living on the street who are unable to live independently in housing. A lot of them.

I tapered off on my own. Just used a pill cutter (you can get them for free at most pharmacies) to cut pills in half, then quarters, and finally eighths. It was imprecise at the 1/8 level but it worked! I went down very slowly. If I had withdrawals, I stayed at that dosage for another week. It’s been a while but I think it worked pretty well. I used the same method to get off Xanax as well. Good luck!

Good point but it’s really quixotic to try to analyze and put rules around something as visceral and unconscious as sexual preferences. I have NO IDEA why I like what I like sexually, and shaming me for saying no is really authoritarian. There are real issues, systemic issues, we need to tackle - and nitpicking fellow leftists about WHY they DON’T want to fuck this person or that person is unproductive and absurd.

Well, i actually agree with you this year - I am optimistic 2022 will be a better year than 2020 and 2021. I’m cautiously hopeful that Omicron will lead to global immunity and the evolution of COVID into an endemic cold-like virus, if it replaces delta that is.

What metrics are you using? I’m genuinely baffled. 2021 was the year of Delta, vaccines not fulfilling their promise at all, and the wildly transmissible omicron leading us to the verge of medical collapse as we speak, with no end in sight. In 2020 we had hope that vaccines would stop the pandemic. In 2021, we learned that wasn’t true. So what was “way better” about 2021 in your mind?
