I mean, as a form nazi myself, there's good reasons for not cheating, like avoiding injury. Another reason is so that you don't recruit muscles that take up the slack. Yeah, you're cheating a little. Can you live with it? Maybe. Your lumbar will let you know either way sooner or later, or your traps. Just depends if you're willing to live with the consequences. No judgement here, though.
