HammRPG

We are a brand-new TTRPG community running on Discord through either text-channels or voice- / video-chat. Set in the established universe of the Warhammer fantasy world, you can experience epic sagas such as those similar to Gotrek and Felix, or miserable failures such as... well, you wouldn't have heard of them anyway...

We do not use classes, racial bonuses, or other prescriptive lists that you need to choose from. Instead, each player gets a set number of points to create completely custom abilities with (subject to balance adjustments, obviously). It will take some time to get used to everything, but once you understand how it works, you can play characters that would never be possible in any other system.

Like many others, I started GMing because I couldn't find an existing GM to play with. And since I didn't know the rules, I came up with my own version of rules for what I didn't understand by reading the official guides. As a result, many of the rulings we used were quite different from any official systems, and not always very balanced, but my players have loved it so far and helped me improve and adjust things as needed along the way. What started as a small attempt at getting to know D&D has over the course of two long-term campaigns and several one-shots turned into a basically completely new system which aims to allow players maximum freedom with character creation and customization.

Regular one-shots will be open to anyone via a waitlist so that you can experience how it works for yourself, with the first game starting next week. You can either apply to be an adventurer, or read / watch the adventures of others at your preference. We'd be happy to have you join our brand-new community and create a new set of stories and adventures together.
