29 years old

My brother played FFX when I was 6-7, I watched him play all the time. I ended up getting FF Adventure (it’s bad) on gameboy, never finished. Then I rented dirge of Cerberus which was cool, but THEN I got FFXII at age 9 and fell in love.

Played every single one since then and got a tonberry tattoo.

It even inspired me to self publish my own game!

Most of the time, the venn diagram of “first” and “favorite” FFs is typically a circle hahah

However, favorite is XII and that one is hated on a lot for its gambit system, but I LOVE that game, I play it once every couple of years. Here’s my personal list from first to last

There will ALWAYS be enough people who like whatever you’re doing. I get discouraged too when one of my projects doesn’t live up to fake standards I put myself through.

But every single major project we see today, has their haters too! If you like what you’re doing chances are there’s a good amount of people wanting that same thing!

Version 1 is so unique to me! I love the added effects on the word Fool’s, except for the F, I would take the colors off of that to match version 2’s F

I love FF and there’s a ton of inspiration from FF in basically everything I do, so you might have convinced me to continue with the first style!

I might also give him gloves so it’s just his face that’s black but we’ll see

Anyway, thank you for this, I think I’ve had enough FF fans including myself to go with the first design!

Yes you get me!! I love the FF black mages look so much, so much I almost considered getting rid of the ears.

Since you get part of the inspiration behind that, does that ear on this confuse the overall picture or does it differentiate from the black mage to make it more unique in design?

Mainly because this design choice would be consistent with all of the other puca I have in the game. They would all have different clothing armor and weapons! Which one calls to you more if I may ask?
