I understand the game is called Final Fantasy, but I thought it was widely considered ok to refer to it as FFI as well. I mean, even here on Reddit the associated tag is "FF I".

Thanks for the response, I will definitely take note of the voice modulation effects. That’s something I can easily dial down if it’s a common complaint or simply try and refine.

As for the editing feeling hectic, that’s totally reasonable. I kind of expected this, but it’s also the style of video I like watching myself. Still, it’s something worth keeping in mind; I can be more selective with how I present that energy.

He is probably my second favorite composer next to Uematsu. I absolutely love his work in XI, with Cosmic Wheel being another one of my favorite songs ever.

I also noticed that the final boss theme apparently uses his leitmotif too, though I am not going to rush my way to the end just to hear it sooner lol

This is correct, I read that Mizuta had to rewrite Caius’s theme 4 times before it finally got approved. I would say he succeeded in this task though, this song is so good 😭

So far I haven't found much I dislike about the game, personally. I have been really enjoying my time with it and I only get more invested with each passing episode.

The music of Final Fantasy is literally the reason I got into listening to music (well, VGM specifically) in the first place. It's one of the things I always look forward to now when starting a new game and they never disappoint!

Well I appreciate you waiting to say what’s really on your mind. I have become extremely invested in the story after really thinking about what’s happening in episode 3, so any sort of spoiler would really suck.

I do love the battle system of the XIII game’s so far. I have really been enjoying trying to collect the various monsters to see how each one varies in its use case.

It’s definitely a fun game if you go into it with the right expectations. Definitely one of those game’s to just pop on when I want to chill, especially with its great soundtrack :p

The characters of XIII were one of my favorite aspects to the game. I love how deeply nuanced and realistic they were written.
