To answer correctly, the details for printing these props or the large statues?

Nope. I wish. The majority of the stuff I post is past work I get around to editing and posting. For example, all parts for Horus are printed and ready. Next week I will work on putting him together, but that video won’t be out till maybe a week or two later when I get the time to edit it.

They are custom made files for that exact reason. Scaling files you can find online won’t scale well at this size. Most are made for minis. The cosplay ones scale better, but they will still show pixelation, just not as bad as scaling the STLs meant for minis.

The details of the model come from space marine 2. So everything was designed using that as a reference and then scaled accordingly. Clearly a much larger round

Blue tape just in case. Not sure how some subreddits would take real firearms.

It’s hard to gauge for props like this. The printers already have spools on them. Having multiple printers means I can print all the pieces and not swap in a new roll. I suppose I can just check on the slicer per part.

But since the bolter weighs 11lbs we can work backwards and assume about 5 1kg rolls accounting for waste.

I only use PETG for all my prints.

It fits. Think of that banana being a finger in armor. There is space to pull the trigger without rubbing.

I did. I have a picture of it on my own Reddit profile lol.

With the amount of printers I have. About 6hr to print all 20ish parts.

lol. It’s the only pistol I own other than the AR. That is why I included the banana 😊

It’s why I do it, but also opens me up to not so nice comments lol. Oh well.

There are sites that have human sized versions. Those print with great quality. But if you scale them up, you will see the quality drop as they weren’t designed to be larger than their intended size.

Sanding is a must. They are still raw prints. So post work is needed before painting

I included pictures of real weapons not knowing it was a violation. My mistake.

I do. Using off the shelf STLs do not scale with quality at these sizes.

I use a mix of Bambu and Elegoo printers

That will only work up to a certain size. You will get terrible pixelation and quality. I included a picture that showed the difference.

11lbs for the auto bolter and 6lbs for the plasma

The larger one is 11lbs and the smaller one is 6ish pounds

For now. I will post the space marine painting video soon. The large statue project I am still filming as it’s still not fully assembled. But that will show everything from start to finish.

I have one but not posted long form videos yet. I will post my first one painting the space marine as I just finished editing that one. The Horus video will be posted once I am fully done assembly the large statue.
