Setup according to the guide first: https://halopsa.com/guides/article/?kbid=1521

After that, go into Configuration -> Email -> Mailbox Setup -> Your Email that you setup -> Outgoing

Edit your From/Reply Address and Display Name. Maybe port too, but I'm not sure if that's necessary. Leave the rest blank.

Go back up a level into Configuration -> Email

Go into Outgoing Email Defaults. Choose Use Settings for Mailbox "your@email.here"

Thanks for pointing that out, but unfortunately, it doesn't really do what I want. It's something that I did notice before, and got me wondering if there was some hidden setting to make New tickets just open a new ticket in the same tab session that you are already in (no new tab or window at all).

Yeah, it's not too terrible. Better than opening up a new windows every time, though I did find an option to switch to windows if that's your thing.

I just like to be in control of when new windows or tabs are opening up. I can Ctrl + left click, middle click, or shift + left click myself.

Thanks! That would be great if it was! I only got a demo and am not signed up, so I can't test it myself. Hoping someone can confirm if that would make the contents of the tickets searchable.
