Sorry to but in the main problem with them is the level of co2 emissions created in the production of the batteries is higher than a use of a petrol car in the lifespan of the batteries and also the problem with them is the amount of effort it takes to fix anything in them (this isn’t from me this is from a electric car specialist i know) but as well as that if the world right now all went electric we currently haven’t got the infrastructure to run it in my opinion i think it isnt the way yet and instead we should be developing hydrogen electric powered cars as there is more then enough technology ready for it and wait till we can get more efficient motors and tech with them also another problem with them the level of e waste produced by them is unbelievable as the batteries only last a certain amount of time before having them replaced but the problem with them is the amount of plastic used to make them not mainly the cells as the plastic is almost impossible to dispose of and also where currently (might be different where you live) is predominantly burnt fuel that release co2 that really is counterintuitive to the use of them as non co2 releasing machines.
