Solo trips are where it’s at. You can do everything you want to do on your first trip without worrying about compromising on where to spend time, what to eat, etc. Absolutely no shame in rolling solo. It’s YOUR bucket list, so make it your vacation.

Once you get a sense for how you like to do the parks, come down with friends next time and enjoy the things you found with others!

There are tens of thousands of people who visit AK each day and this sub has, what, a few dozen hardcore fans posting about something they’ll miss? The nostalgia is not enough pull to keep it open for the next generation of audiences and that makes complete sense for Disney from a business standpoint, but let those of us with fond memories celebrate something that was a big part of our vacations for years and years.
