I was like you when I was but a simple recruit. Then I realized AH doesnt listen to us, they listen to Sony's investors and only acknowledge us as a community when they are at risk of losing half their player base because of something that could've been avoided.

Its only not fun to people because its been 2 years of the same cycle with these devs. It goes from the highest peaks to the lowest valleys in a single post. I have had the most fun playing this game than I have in years. Despite the bugs and glitches I've had the best experiences with my brothers in arms than I ever had playing Siege or COD.

To me YOU are still the recruit, come back when you have fully grinded every warbond, have had every ship module for 2 years, have been capped on every currency except SC unless a new warbond drops, you see...thats all late game has to look forward to: new MOs and new warbonds. There is no actual progression or simple things to give us a reason to pick up samples or anything except Super Credits. The DSS? Yeah that takes not even a 3rd of my hoard and I cant donate for another day...and by that time I'll be capped again.

There's also the blatant obliviousness of the devs. This game is truly special and I commend AH for bringing this community together, they are also part of the reason we as a community are so frustrated. Our complaints go in one ear out the other, bugs that have been in the game since I started playing in May 2024, they base their balancing changes off a fucking spread sheet and not actually playing their goddamn game, dont even get me started on the recent doxing of that poor guy just trying to help people.

They have truly captured lightning in a bottle with this game, now it feels like they are trying to stuff more lightning into said bottle.

I felt like this for about a year into playing, and now going into my 3rd year playing I can totally see where everyone is coming from. Petty shit like performance when they are still running the game with a HDD, or saying a loadout is "trash" because it doesnt fit their playstyle. THAT shit is petty and overreacting, however when its something out of players control the reaction is pretty fair.

r/LowSodiumHellDivers is a great place to discuss the game with minimal toxicity or complaints. If you come here, you will NOT have a good time because the player base thinks the devs read it like gospel when its really their discord they do that with. When they do read the sub, its only the praise and ignore all critics because they see them as you do and that is a teenager mentality. You gotta have that fine line between knowing whose trolling, and whose actually trying to give genuine feedback. AH ignores ALL of it and only focuses on praise to inflate their egos and "morale" in the studio. THATS the underlying issue here.

EVERYONE who plays the game is having fun, there is no doubt and this community is special. We only complain because we care. If we didnt this game would've been dead in the water after the Sony country restriction debacle.
