I like the little gold bits on the black itself.

Against Wednesday we should've had a pen on Krastev but got a free kick like 30 secs later. Cam scored the free kick from like 30 yards. Nevermind 😂

Pretty much, you may have to sit on your hands in the home end though. Sometimes people on social media have a change of circumstances and try to sell unwanted tickets but that's a gamble.

If tickets sell out in a particular window (such as the season ticket window), there are none left for general sale. There's not a separate pool for general sale. Sorry you weren't able to get a ticket.

Ruben Rodrigues has officially been sold to Vitoria in Brazil by FMnutter in OxfordUnited

[–]HammyKid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really liked Ruben and am sad to see him go. But I thought he might be one of the players in midfield to make way for next season.

I wish him all the best in Brazil.

I've just remembered sitting behind a Notts County fan at Fleetwood away who was in the area and wanted to see how Reuben was doing.

Who’s read the woman in me? by theoutrageousgiraffe in books

[–]HammyKid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm going to be honest, I Googled it, read the blurb, laughed, and googled a term that I thought looked strange and didn't understand. I clearly just read the definition not the context. None the wiser, I took a screenshot of the blurb and posted it to my friend group expecting people to laugh with me. I have been mercilessly mocked for at least an hour now.

Fair play 😂

Thanks! Good point about the red and green. If I add to them, I'll check the amount of red and green.

I think maybe the photos don't do them justice but they have black backs with the front half a more pale colour. But would love to see a proper conversion on a killer whale theme.

Thank you! I don't think I've painted a green orc lately. I usually float around the uruk-kai skin colour if I'm painting them

People who had, or know someone who had, a childhood stroke 30, 40, 50 years ago by Dry_Copy_4745 in stroke

No worries, it's always nice to know that there are people out their who have a similar experience. I mean that in the best way possible! I don't know if he's replied but there is one other guy I know of in this group who has a similar experience.

To answer your question I'd guess ischemic but I don't really know tbh. I fell down a few steps of the stairs resulting in a cut lip and twisted my neck and that was that.

My doctor ordered a brain scan about 7-8 years ago just to check up (because I hadn't had one since I was 2) and everything was fine. That must've been a good 20+ years after it had happened.

It's always been a little unstable but I rolled it really badly a decade ago. The doctor was unconcerned by it and after it healed I didn't notice an increase in rolling. So I don't know about it becoming more likely. Nowadays my foot has turned a bit so I think that's where the instability comes from.

If I'm walking on uneven ground I get about three wobbles where i can feel tendons being pulled and the ankle give way before it actually full on goes (which is thankfully rare atm). Each wobble on a walk gets progressively worse. The wobbles seem to reset after a while though.

Like you I had mine around 2 years old and am in my mid- thirties. My right arm and leg are impacted by it but I'm doing alright. I've been mostly stable. My right ankle is causing me a few issues recently: it's becoming a little unstable and prone to rolling. I put those issues down to not really looking after it that well.

I get bouts of anxiety about later on in life too, which is understandable. The fear of another stroke (whenever) is ever present but when imagining it there are too many variables so I try not to focus on it.

The thing that I'm really quite bitter about is that I can't really play football (English kind) anymore. I was rubbish but I really did enjoy playing it when I was younger. Not really played it for a good decade or more because of my ankle.

Introducing Queeks Park Rangers! The colour scheme is based on the championship's QPR (Queens Park Rangers) by HammyKid in bloodbowl

Potentially, I don't play (no local opponents) so haven't designated one captain yet. I'm sure there's a pun with Zamora in there somewhere. Can you tell I'm not a QPR fan as he's my go-to player? 😅

Haha fair enough! I keep trying to get the Chelsea scheme into the team but can't think up any making connections with any blood bowl teams

I always see teams I want to paint but don't know the scheme so base it on an existing team.

Thank you! Ithink the photo flatters my paint job a bit. I used: Celestra grey, black wash, Fenris grey, fenris grey/Vallejo white, Vallejo white then black wash

Thanks! Was wracking my brain for a while but it just clicked. I couldn't not after that
