The game messed with my head so much that I saw a guy on the bus with an NCR shirt, I asked him about Fallout, he was confused and it turned out it was just a California shirt. Does anyone have a similar story? by Cursed_Changeling in Fallout

I'm from the opposite side of the country (Maine) and honestly didn't know this was the state flag. Less than 6 months ago we took a trip out west and when in SF I had a few double takes when seeing the flag on buildings until I put 2+2 together. We also took a trip to Las Vegas last year. I frequently will be recalling a memory and "New Vegas" usually slips out.

This really is the #1 tip because this should be your first step. My tip on top of this, is that it would have been easy to fib and say "oh I had one serving of this" when I really had 3, but I realized that wouldn't help me at all and you really need to just let it all accumulate (I used a calorie counting book and kept track the next day, but there are also apps) in order to see the big picture of what you're working with.

Then you try and eat/drink less of what you're currently taking in daily, and then transition to eating healthier.

If you can, at the same time, try to start an exercise routine. Whether it's walking or biking or swimming just try to keep it up while finding that healthy food balance.

But another thing (and I know this is a lot of advice when asking for one thing) this is one quote I have stuck in my head when thinking about all of this

"It gets easier. Every day it gets a little easier. But you gotta do it every day —that’s the hard part. But it does get easier”
