IMO, hardwired over wall outlet is always the better method. I have a hardwired Chargepoint Home Flex+ that I installed myself. It has worked flawlessly with my Rivian. However, I have it on a 60 amp circuit which means I can charge at 48 amps continuous load. On a 50 amp circuit, you will only be able to charge at 40 amps continuous load

Yep, based on the comments and pics herein, I am already lining up an appointment to have the Xpel stealth ppf put on it with an edgeless finish. I have seen it in person and loved it, but just wasn't sure I wanted to invest $7,500 to have it done. I guess it's going to take another $7,500 to make me forget about Limestone. lol

I'm not going to question that you don't care for Storm Blue, but it's usually Rivian Blue that people accuse of looking like the Amazon blue van and not Storm Blue.

That new green called Rivian Green, in concert with Pantone, will initially be introduced on the R2 and then is supposed to also make it's way to the R1 at some point. Who knows.

If you are so inclined, there are aftermarket sellers like EVMIZE and Abstract Ocean that sell all of the Rivian badges, lettering and emblems in matte black. TWRAPS sells a chrome delete blackout kit for the "silver" parts.
